About
WildHawk Golf Club is a challenging championship layout that is one of Sacramento's most popular public courses. The verdant landscape is dotted with scenic water features, including a cascading waterfall. Water is naturally a prominent presence but the unique shape and positioning of the bunkers also makes the course stand out from other public tracks. The golf course boasts some of the area's best greens as well. The layout has a diverse mix of challenging holes and player friendly elements such as the wide-open fairways on the longer par 4s and par 5s, which makes the golf course accommodating for a range of skill levels. It still requires a fair amount of accuracy though since it can get tight in some spots. WildHawk Golf Club can also be more difficult depending on the wind

Not Bad
Besides slow pace of play, no marshal seen working to increase the pace, no beverage cart on course and many tees in poor shape.
Fairways in good shape as well as greens and traps.
Will play there again.
Great course for a good price
Surprised to find greens this good for $35 with cart on a Sunday. Would like to visit again and play the course in competition
Great course
Conditioner and course are always great. Layout is one of better in area for a fun round
Not a fall winter course
The course itself is pretty decent for $40 during the summer and spring. However, showed up and it was carts on oath only, the whole course had such horrible drainage there were washed out cart paths and lakes where the fairway should be. The fairways themselves weren’t super soggy for the most so not sure why it wasn’t 90 degree rule. Here’s the issue with the course drainage. No warning when booked, they still had foursomes going out every 8 minutes. Which is absurd when it’s going to take at least 10-15 for everyone to find their ball without the cart. The course was backed up with 2-3 groups on a tee box at times. The Marshalls were very diligent about making sure you didn’t drive on the fairway but not to speed up the group playing from the tips shanking it 60 yards. Charging full price and no warning made the day a little aggravating for everyone.
Love this course but slow pace
Greens were in great condition. They needed a Marshall out there though because a foursome two ahead of us were real slow and backed everybody behind them. When I called the club house about it they did send a Marshall out to take care of the problem.
Fun Course
This is a nice course for the average golfer, not difficult and fun to play. Always enjoy playing here, pace of play is always good, facilities are in good shape and food and beverages are great.

Greens are in great shape! Overall good course conditions.
Wide fairways
Wide fairways in good condition, also greens 9n great shape.finished in 4:10.
Smooth Greens
The greens are back from aeration and repairs to rolling smooth as true. Now if we can teach golfers to repair their ball marks.
Great day on the course. Fairways are in good shape. Greens are receptive.
