About
WildHawk Golf Club is a challenging championship layout that is one of Sacramento's most popular public courses. The verdant landscape is dotted with scenic water features, including a cascading waterfall. Water is naturally a prominent presence but the unique shape and positioning of the bunkers also makes the course stand out from other public tracks. The golf course boasts some of the area's best greens as well. The layout has a diverse mix of challenging holes and player friendly elements such as the wide-open fairways on the longer par 4s and par 5s, which makes the golf course accommodating for a range of skill levels. It still requires a fair amount of accuracy though since it can get tight in some spots. WildHawk Golf Club can also be more difficult depending on the wind

Nice track,great value
Nice course, good variety of holes. Great pace of play.
Course over watered in spots.
Back nine closed
We were only allowed to play the front nine, but no one told us that until we were on hole #11. We started to play the front nine over again but it was very slow.
Fun Time
We had a really good time. Course was in good shape. But the tee boxes need a lot of work.
Play early or suffer
Enforcement of pace of play is non existent, clocks are posted to make people self aware but let’s be real. Had an 11:50a on Friday I am writing this at 2:45p stuck behind three groups at hole 10. Definitely won’t be playing here past 8:00a ever again.
Bad tee boxes
This used to be one of my favorite courses. But it has become over rated and over priced. Tee bases were in horrible conditions. Greens and fairways were ok but lots of GUR areas. Staff is all very nice and accommodating but there are many nicer courses to choose from.
Awesome Place to Play
Well groomed course with fantastic pin placements. Plenty of practice putting area
To long of an afternoon
Had fun but got very frustrated because at the 16 hole we had been playing for 5 1/2 hours and it got dark did not get to play the last three holes.
Condition
Tee boxes are in bad shape and several areas are missing turf. Lots of uneven tee boxes. Several bunkers are hard pan and looks like red clay. Drought conditions are taking its toll throughout the fairways and rough.
On a positive note, the greens are still in great shape and rolling true.
Wide fairway
Nice course, I liked the wide fairways. Good course for rookies...
