About
WildHawk Golf Club is a challenging championship layout that is one of Sacramento's most popular public courses. The verdant landscape is dotted with scenic water features, including a cascading waterfall. Water is naturally a prominent presence but the unique shape and positioning of the bunkers also makes the course stand out from other public tracks. The golf course boasts some of the area's best greens as well. The layout has a diverse mix of challenging holes and player friendly elements such as the wide-open fairways on the longer par 4s and par 5s, which makes the golf course accommodating for a range of skill levels. It still requires a fair amount of accuracy though since it can get tight in some spots. WildHawk Golf Club can also be more difficult depending on the wind

Sanded and punched greens
Overall it was a decent round even though we didn’t know the greens were punched and sanded probably a week or so earlier, it’s a friendly layout and pretty wide open with generous fairways, looking forward to going back when the greens are healed up
Wildhawk
Overall I’m pretty good shape. Greens running fairly quickly. Heavy afternoon pace of play as tournament had the course for the morning. A few wet spots but overall pretty good.
Great track, terrible pace of play
I always enjoy playing Wildhawk, course condition is great, fairways & greens are well maintained. It’s a challenging enough course to make you keep coming back for more. But, it’s not that hard of a course that it took 5 hrs to finish a round. Pace of play was horrible to say the least. I appreciate the marshall coming over to our group on the 9th hole, to give us an update on the groups ahead of us. However, that didn’t stop our round ending up taking 5 hours to complete. Marshall even offered a raincheck for holes we end up not finishing, which is a very nice gesture. Nothing but praise for the course & the staff, but pace of play is atrocious.

Wildhawk is an underrated course
Wildhawk is an underrated course that is moderately easy but just enough hazards to keep you honest. Greens were in excellent shape; course was in good shape but they do have an issue with standing water in a few places where the irrigation system seems to have a problem and the tee boxes are sometimes bad but they are improving.. Good practice range with new balls and mats. Staff and starters are excellent and always friendly.
Wild hawk is a nice course!
Nice, easy track for the intermediate golfer. Staff and facilities were excellent.
Rocky Mountain Tee boxes!
Worst tee boxes I’ve ever played on, extremely uneven with holes and all kinds of issues. Greens were in good shape, that’s about the only part of the course that was in decent shape.
Food and drink were on the high side, especially for that type of course in the sac market. Beer and vodka sodas are cheaper at Yocha Dehe.
Good course at a good price.
Checked this course out for the first time and had a good day of golf with a buddy. Fairways and greens were in good shape. Good course for beginners/average golfers. Good beer selection but they shut down the kitchen by 4:30 on a Sunday afternoon after our round. Only real disappointment of the day.
