Bolingbrook Golf Club

Greens had been aerated about 2 weeks prior to the round, but were mostly healed and running about 9.5-10 on the stimp. Rest of the course was in fantastic shape.

Bolingbrook is a great links style championship course. It's forgiving off the tee, but not always easy to score with the challenging greens, run off areas and bunkers.

My beef is the paid in full Golf Now reservation with no mention of the airated greens. Playing Bolingbrook is always a treat as I usually opt for more affordable rounds, and I was really disappointed the condition of the greens this time around.

Course is challenging and in great shape. Some of the greens are a bit to sloped, small and hard making it tough to hold proper approach shots.

The course books 10 4 somes at the same time as the golf now price just because they don't like the cheaper rate golf now offers. So we played 9 holes in just over 3 hours. I will never play there again after the kid who cleaned my clubs told me they do it on purpose because of golf now.

Course in good shape. Greens very fast. More ballmarks than expected. Golfers should learn to lift their feet when walking on the green. Great amenities at the facility. Gps on carts was great. Staff very friendly. Restaurant atmosphere was great. I would recommend you play if you haven't before.

Outstanding course .... but the greens are ROCK HARD and pretty chewed up ... would be one of the top courses in the 'burbs if not for the greens.

This course was remarkable. Fairways and greens were in great condition. We received complementary range balls just for playing, carts had GPS and water and ball and club washes in them, staff was friendly clearly knew a lot about golf. Great experience.

It's an expensive round by most measures, but you get what you pay for at Bolingbrook. Great facility.

Overall I would recommend trying this course once, just for the experience. However, I don't think I'll be going back unless maybe to play twilight rates.

Facility is very nice and course is very well maintained, but they keep the greens way too fast for the amount of wind that area gets. Ball was oscillating on almost every hole -- some 50 foot putts downwind or 15 footers uphill only needed a little tap, while 30 footers downhill only made it halfway.

Definitely a great play for a group scramble or event, but to play day in and day out there's much better value for the $$ elsewhere in Chicagoland -- ie Bowes Creek, Highlands of Elgin, Prairie Landing, etc.

Course is in great shape. Greens were well maintained. Speed of play was pretty good. Course personnel very professional. Will be watching for more good deals for this course. Course layout is pretty good.

Great design. The greens were recovering from being aerated, but were still fairly fast. The rest of the course was in great shape. The weather, however, was awful. 52 degrees and 35 mph. wind.

Course was in great shape, very windy day, but over all happy golfer !!!

Great staff! the starter made my day. I had a late lunch at the Nest ; excellent food and the bar tender was on top of things. We had general conversation about the course and the next thing you know I'm on the tee box. Great round and I donated a few ball to the course.

Course was in decent shape, however for the amount of money and distance away I was hoping for better course conditions. Pace of play took over 5 hours. Nice course if it were around $50 and under.

Very good golf course in general. You have to get to know the greens here because there are a lot of down slopes that your ball will hit and bounce in a chipping area. Very fast greens, this time of year there a little beat up but that is expected. Fairways were in great shape. Views at this golf course are great, it makes me forget where I am when I play here. The wind was terrible 30 mph. 2-3 club difference still was a good day. Staff very friendly and helpful.

Superb venue. Several nice courses out this way, but Bolingbrook Golf Club is top notch. Bending over backward to accommodate golfers is just the beginning of a great experience. Bring your A game.

What a sleeper. Never expected to find such a premier golf course In the suburbs. There are plenty of excellent courses out here but this one is top notch in everything.

Clubhouse is second to none. I've been in many top notch private clubs and this might be in the top 5 nicest clubhouse I've ever seen. By far the nicest public clubhouse I've ever seen. Wow!

Wait, proshop and outside staff were exceptional.

The course overall is good but not great. The green complexes however are very difficult and challenging to navigate. Could be made to play harder for tournements fairly easily. I could see LPGA, Senior PGA or Web.com playing here for sure.

The driving range was large and double ended. I like that feature but the golf course end was filthy and unorganized. It looked shabby and uncared for. Basically a big eyesore in the middle of it all. The greens should be marked on the tee with yardages. The greens also should mimic that of the greens on the course. Limited greens from the clubhouse end. It looked as though it hadn't been picked in a week. Just bad. Most times it wouldn't be an issue but it's right out in plain sight. Yuk.
