Love this course !!
I love this course, but yesterday, their are more greenkeeper than player. And very loud and ruthless.
But we will come back soon :-)

Excellent
Even though most other courses are dry due to the drought this course is green and full. The greens are true. Staff is friendly. Plenty of places to get ice water. I would definitely recommend this course to everyone.

Read the recent reviews and thought this looks nice. Was a very average course. Fairways were a bit shaggy and it looked as though some of the greens were just plugged. Nice par 3 signature hole though.

This course plays to all Levels
Herons Glen has a tee box to fit your game and make it total enjoyable to play.
If you are a 14 and up handicap you will Total enjoy this course, the Tee boxes, fairways and greens are in great shape. I am amazed that with the little rain we have had that this course has not turned brown. The greens are getting a little shine to them because of no rain but still one of the best course I have played in the last two months.

Very nice course - payable for all levels
We participant a shotgun event and it was just perfect. The course is in a very good condition considering the dry weather so far. Good value for the fee and staff are very friendly. Would definitely come back.

You're not kidding dry weather. We had less than 2 inches of rain in April but good watering practices by our staff has helped maintain our current course conditions.

Repeat Player
Played from #2 Tee Box and found it quite challenging. Large tree branch laden with seeds snapped and fell over on 1st fairway as our group teed off. Luckily no one underneath when it fell. Loved the course and it impressed my playing partner's first visit to the course. Will return again.
really a fun course
love the course layout, greens were extremely hard
which is unusual for them.greens were a little crusty.
all and all i really like the course.
Came back for more.

Golf now....really?!?
We had to search for someone to check us in. Never mind someone at bagcheck to take the bags and load them in a cart. After we finally were checked in, they told us there should be a cart outside to load them on. Then we made our way to the driving range to be shooed twice from one side to the othert of the water driving range because they were doing something with a boat?!?. Really disappointing as this was highly rated by golf now. Wow Finally, as we expected, there was no one to be found when we finished. We loaded our clubs, put the cart back where we found it and left.
We apologize that your day did not meet your expectations.
Herons Glen does not staff the bag drop at any time so that is why you had to unload and load your bag. As you found out, we have an aqua range and periodically we use our boat to retrieve golf balls that are not blown in by the wind. You should not have been asked to move more than once from your hitting station while warming up.
