I've seen deers, rabbits and skunks on the fairway but not a fox....and this close! That's the fun part of playing golf, you don't know who will show up! Photo submitted by junbelara on 07/09/2013

Slow play, poor conditions
First thing - absolutely BEAUTIFUL links-sryle course on the East Bay shoreline. I'll be back, but not nearly as often as if it weren't so overcrowded & the condition of the course so poor.
They send groups out every 9 minutes, which is packing them in already. But when the wind gets to blowing in off the Bay, and it can easily gust 30+mph, you got people all over the place searching the rough and driving into the next fairway!
5 to 6 hour rounds, and multiple areas of GUR in the middle of fairways really lessen the enjoyment. But like I said, the challenge & the scenery will bring me back!
Course has seen better days...
I had played this course in the past and loved it, but unfortunately it has gone downhill. The course has an excellent layout, great greens, and a friendly staff, but that's where the positives end. The pace of play was terrible--at one point there were 3 groups waiting on a par 3--and the tees and fairways are mediocre at best. There are tons of dry/dead spots all over and the bunkers are atrocious (all hardpan and no sand).
It's really a shame, since the course really has so much potential with its layout, staff, views, and wildlife. But for around $90 (with cart) I won't be playing here again anytime soon.
My opinion
The golf course is at bay very nice place the golf course quality is very flat actually nothing the view is incredible the greens all is 5*shape i wish in the future they have camera on every green people will never play there who is not clean after his self the pitch mark . The staff is good kind and enough you will feel you are a human .
Goose Droppings Everywhere!
I was really disappointed how this golf course was over price considering that the layout the greens and fairways are not that good the greens did not have a true roll, After playing Corica South course Nearby that cost less I just wanted to end my round after the front nine. There’s so many other nice golf courses in the bay area and I will be avoiding this next time I come to town.
Excellent Course
Great course with incredible views along the bay. Course is very well kept and is very fun. Round took a little over 5 hours but only because of one awful group in front of us. Beautiful views , great course, and not crazy expensive. Will come here often
Played my best at this course
Played super early here after dropping some family members at the Oakland airport. Never played this course but I have heard a lot of good things about it. Started playing by myself and eventually joined by another golfer after the first hole. The course is super wide, it is going to be hard to lose your ball unless your playing holes near the water. But besides that, you should be able to play most holes even if your ball goes far right or left. Green is in perfect condition! Staff are putting a lot of work to make this course even better. Was asked about the membership, if you live near the course you should get it! It is super worth it. Unfortunately, I live in Hollister :( I finally scored under 80 so I might sound bias about this course haha. But will definitely recommend this course to anyone since it can be forgiving, just try to avoid as much bunkers as you can if possible.
3 teams per tee box by hole4
First. Book for golf now price but get to payment and have 10$ per person added for not being a San Leandro resident. Could’ve lied but they could’ve waived it as well since I had a booked price.
No one on ahead of us the whole time paying or getting refreshments. Played hole 1 and crossed bridge to hole 2. No one on hole 2. Play 2 and get to 3 tee and have to wait for walkers in the fairway who are waiting in team in green. We play hole 3 and get to the 4 tee and both teams are waiting at the par 3 for another group on the green. So in a span of 3 holes , the whole course is backed up. We waited 35 minutes and played hole 4 and gave up.
While driving back in there are 3 carts with Young men parked on the fringes of the #1 green . Not an indictment but just an impression….
No need to go back.
