Great course, no security
Had a great time playing monarch bay, but came back to our car and found that it had been broken into. Parked right by the clubhouse, stole the stereo and amp. The fact this was my first time here and this happened I’m sure it happens all the time. Other courses in the area like Lake Chabot have security that patrol the parking lot. Can’t say I would come back knowing my locked car will get broken into midday. Very annoying

Nice course -great greens
The staff is very friendly and helpful. Greens are in really good shape. Got lucky with pace of playing as it was reasonable. I do recommend this course.

Paid over $100 with cart for average course. Better courses to play at for that price. Don't think I will be back here.

Pace of playing makes it a 2 star deal at best
Nice course. Greens are in very good shape. Layout is interesting. Staff is friendly. However, the pace of play is really bad with zero supervision. Unless your tee time is before noon you will not finish your round which is expensive if you playing less than 18 holes and charged full price.

Nice course -getting expensive and no monitoring for slow playing
The course is in great shape. Greens are nice, same as fairways. Very enjoyable. However prices are getting a bit high for this kind of course. If you get a foursome that is too slow you will not finish your round, no one monitors pace of play or make a point to ask players to keep with group in front.
