Poplar Creek Golf Course

This course is fairly easy-- flat and mostly wide open. It is great for higher handicap to enjoy a round of golf. But the pace could get very slow on weekends.

Poplar Creek is a good course with an interesting layout.

There are challenging holes and a few easy holes.

The greens are very difficult but in good condition.

The weather was close to perfect. Normally Poplar Creek is windy but there was almost no wind today.

We played in 4 hours which is the norm.

The View is beautiful! Bayside.

Not many signs pointing towards the tee boxes, as well as not many illustrations showing where the green is from the tee box. Overall great course for the price and great staff

Sand traps are like rocks .... staff doesn’t even say hello .. looks like a good place for weddings or events but that’s it

As a Golfer who rarely plays but is playing more frequently this is just a wonderful course.

Fast, challenging, firm greens

Extremely walkable

Fun layout (6 par threes and a couple interesting shorter par 4’s)

Good for beginners but can be a challenge to more experienced golfers if you’re looking to make lots of birdies

Marshall pushed too much to play with other players, even though i confirmed to desk staff that we can play just two of us.

I couldnt see the difference between two separated two player and four player together.

Eventhough he was angry, he need to think about what is the kindness.

This course has been maintained well and great facilities. Really good open fairways and greens are good pace. Loved it and will be back for sure.

Poplar Creek is a good course that is not too difficult.

The course was in better shape especially the greens.

The pace of play was much better than normal.

The biggest drawback is the lack of signs with yardage from the green.

I played this course a few times and my experiences were great until yesterday. First, there are some high school players in front of us played very slow and one of the player complaint about that and they didn't do anything. Off course we can't finish as usual. One of the employees came to take my cart away before the sun was setting down. I just played here days ago until 8:20 PM without any problems. I asked why. He said I was told that I must return the cart back before 730. I said I did not hear it. Then he yelled at me very loud and very upset. I was so confused about his attitude. "why you yell at your customer" he said: "You lie and I hate liar!" What did I lie about?

I write this review only want all of their employees to handle this kind of situation with a sense of humor and not too sensitive. Any customer ever with a few questions should not be treated like this. Period!
