Poplar Creek Golf Course

Poplar Creek is a good course. It has an interesting layout that is challenging but not too difficult.

One drawback is the pace of play is slow.

Also there are very few yardage markers and very few benches to sit.

Awesome weather for a round of golf with an old high school buddy. Didn’t add any one to our twosome, pace of play was great. Done in under 4 hrs on a Friday.

This is a great course to walk: flat wide open and pleasant. While it is prone to wind (like all Bay Area courses), it it not crippling. As much as it looks like a fairly flat and straightforward course, it has its share of challenges. The greens can be tricky! I really enjoy coming here.

It is not too difficult and in good condition.

The greens are very challenging but in good condition.

Pace of play was only fair but everything else was very good.

This courses greens and area around the greens were in horrible conditions. Blotchy crab grass around the greens. Whoever pulls the holes doesn’t make sure it’s packed back down. You literally watch puts make right or left turns as they approach the hole.

The course is in good condition but the pace of play around noon is very slow. Other times pace of play is much better.

The new restaurant is good but service is not good.

Course was very nice! Greens fast and fairways good ! A little windy but tolerable . Great rates from golf now !

I play here sometimes when I am in town. Mostly because it’s very close to friends we stay with. I am always hopeful they won’t have crammed as many people onto the course as possible and I’m always disappointed. This time was no exception. 10:20 tee time on a Friday and it was almost a five hour round. Also while I saw the Marshall numerous times no one prevented a foursome that was two groups ahead of us from stopping at the snack shack after 9 eating lunch then jumping in front of my group. Did not help pace of play at all. I’ll be looking for a course on my way to San Mateo to play next time.

They had a hot deals rate at noon that was unbeatable !! I would definitely play again

The course is flat and easy to walk. Fairways are fairly wide and clear. The course is fairly well maintained with clean fairways. The greens are a bit bumpy, but generally run pretty well and offer a challenge. We enjoy coming here for a challenging (but not frustrating) round that is very walkable!

Great layout with a friendly staff. I like how close it is to the airport. Overall I enjoyed my time and will go back.

Easy flat course. Good for ego refresh, greens are fast and are hard to read .

Poplar Creek is a good course with some challenging holes. Pace of play was better than normal today.. A new restaurant opened this week in the clubhouse but I didn't try it.

It was my first time playing this course and it was somewhat challenging due the wind and unfamiliarity of the layout. The greens were FAST. I would definitely play this course again.
