Great Grass!

Not sure how they do it in that dry, hot climate, but they do a great job both on the fairways and on the putting greens. Very well maintained course, and always a delight to play!

Risk v Reward

I read several scathing reviews just before playing The Bridges, after playing I think people should have to include their index when posting course reviews. Mine is 15.

This course was very punishing to bad shots and very rewarding to good shots. If you can’t hit a good shot over a 175yard carry, then maybe layup and hit the shot you can hit. In other words, The Bridges requires you to think a little bit more about risk v reward.

The staff at the reception were disrespectful and rude. Not helpful at all. He charged me 25 dollars extra if I wanted a separate cart. No receipt. The club will do better for their own image if they can have more courteous, respectful and honest people at reception. I have chosen to hold back on my perception of bias for the next time. I am non- white.

Great conditions, unfriendly counter person

Would definitely play again. Layout and course conditions were perfect. Staff seemed to treat Golfnow patrons poorly. On ground maintenance staff were disruptive.

Tough course and NO beverages or food

Don’t come here hungry or thirsty. They have no snack bar at the turn and the last several times they have had NO ONE in a drink cart driving around. They say you can call (in the middle of your round) and order something and then someone will drive it out. It was 90 degrees yesterday. It’s just completely unacceptable to not have a drink cart on a weekend. Oh and when we finished they said the bar and restaurant were closed due to an upcoming wedding. Had to drive to a 7-11 to get something before I passed out.

Too Mnay CART PATH ONLY!

We played on a Tuesday and while the pace was fantastic - hardly anyone out there - we didn't care for all of the CART PATH ONLY holes. The course is hilly enough and to add having to walk steep hills to your ball for people with knee problems was not great.

Great layout. Tee boxes need leveling. A few bare spots on fairways, very few.

If these are addressed it is an absolute 5 star course.

I booked the 2:00. Twilight trying to save a few bucks. Got there 12:30. Wanna go a little early like 1:30. Course was wide open no one tee off like 30 minutes. The guy ask us to wait until 1:55 to tee up. Basically no one was playing ahead of us like 30 minutes. He said we paid for twilight need to waiting until twilight to start.

First time at the Bridges

At this course you will find welcoming entry staff with a full explanation of an idea of how to approach the course. This is for sure a target course where one should not try many hero shots unless you hit long. The course Marshall was trying to speed us up unnecessarily as the twosome behind us wasn’t catching us. We even tried to wait at the cart girl for them but to no avail. After being told again about our slow pace, we just stopped and waited 10 mins for them to catch us and play thru. Course Marshall changed shifts and the second one just complimented us on trying to keep pace as we sometimes waited on the twosome. The first one was definitely not rude, just commenting over and over about something that wasn’t happening, nobody waited for us.

Having a 61 year old man going up and down those slopes definitely takes a toll on the time for sure but that was the only reason I say we were ‘slow’. Other than that, the course was well maintained, played really true once it dried up and our experience was fun with the two gentlemen that we met and played with

Unfortunate Slow Play

We waited on most tee boxes starting at the first hole. The condition of the course is fair. Tee box grass length too high, for iron shots off the tee it felt like a thick rough. Overall decent round but not for that price.
