Best course
Used to live around the corner and this was my home course; would love to play first thing in the morning when the greens are still wet. A lot of thin fairways but some nice hills and embankments that help if your familiar with this course. Got stung by bees on the right of the fairway in the weeds on the 6th watch out for that yellow jacket hole. Other than that it’s my favorite course in San Ramon. Make sure to bring a few bucks to tip the golf club cleaning guys at the end too and say hi to the nice food drivers out there on the course
The Bridges
Course was in great shape and the pace of play was really good. We order food right at the beginning of the round and they brought it to us on the course after we tee'd off. It was a good day of Golf. Tough course but enjoyable.

Fun day with my son
We had a fun time with early tee time. Fairways were really wet, and that affected roll out on tee shots. Also a lot of Cart Path Only holes, which is fine... as long as those behind us honored that. Two groups behind us consistently drove their carts on wet and roped off fairways. We had a 3 1/2 hour round (with us honoring CP only)... not bad. Greens healing, snooth, but rolling slow.

Challenging course with interesting layout
Many holes with long rough hazards to hit over from the tee box. Lots of sloping fairways and rolling hills. Very heavy grass (not wet, just sturdy) such that we needed to swing pretty hard to get the ball out of it. All parts of the course seemed in good shape, but I did find some soggy bottoms on various fairways. Considering the very hot dry conditions, I suppose it's reasonable to over-water the grass a bit. Overall, a fun course with plenty of challenges.

Beautiful but unexpected
Course was in great shape tee box to greens mainly because it was 90* rule on the front, and cart path only on the back. If I had known prior to the arrival than I would have probably brought my push cart, and just walked the course. We also happened to choose the day that the driving range was closed due to full ball retrieval and grass cutting being scheduled in the morning.

Difficult Course
The Bridges is a challenging golf course because you are playing golf on the side of a canyon. You are always playing on a slope...so you are always thinking. This is a great place to go to challenge yourself.

Good challenging course
This has always been a good challenging course to play and conditions are mostly good most of the time. But lately, the last couple of months we played, they have been enforcing "cart path only" for either the front 9 or back 9 even though they are not aerating. This course is hilly and creates issues with seniors with mobility/physical issues...

Fix the tee boxes!
The superintendent should be embarrassed at the state of the tee boxes! It's impossible to get a flat stance and the grass is terrible. Please fix them!

I guess bridges is staffed with doctors & scientists???
They seem to be of the opinion that there is no pandemic as they are insisting patrons (strangers really) share carts now.
This place will be the next epicenter for the next super spreader event in contra costa county. The county should shut them down.
I also encountered a marshal there that was completely insensitive and unfriendly
Save your money there are better, safer places to play.

Good Track
Overall good course, unique and challenging. I liked that each hole had character and wasn't cookie cutter format. Tee boxes could be better, hard to find a level spot and grass could have been cut lower. Also, the rules required carts to remain on path for no apparent reason. Made it more difficult and longer walk.

COUNTRY CLUB EXPERIENCE
What a wonderful layout. Every hole is a challenge, no matter what tee box you play from. You do need distance off the tee in order to score well, if you are wanting to score well. However, if you are out for a fun day of golf, and score doesn't matter, just keep the ball on in the fairway, regardless of what hole you are playing. Don't let the rough scare you, even though you'll barely see the top of the ball, there is a lot of room underneath
Under clubbing is permittable, for your approach shots.
