First Time Playing

First time at the Bridges. Starter was friendly but the tee boxes here are all torn up. Many are closed for re seeding. The greens were in rough shape, lots of ball marks, sand and dead spots throughout. Bad enough to throw off putts consistently. Course was pretty muddy after light rain the night before but still fun overall. I’d be happy if I had paid $40 but at $70 in this condition you’ll be disappointed. Hope the greens are fixed up soon.

Greens in BAD condition

The greens are terrible. It looks like the pins haven't been moved in a long time so it's all torn-up around them.

Tough track

I can see in it’s heyday that this was a great place. I think due to circumstances that we have now upkeep has been tough. Tee boxes are bad and even though the greens are fairly quick they are chewed up. Mainly by people not fixing their ball marks. I’m calling all of you players out there to FIX YOUR BALL MARKS!! I now know why they call it Bridges. It seems that you cross 2 to 3 bridges every hole. Ravines are 30 feet deep. You can lose a lot of balls here if you can’t keep it in play.

You need a caddy

First time, you play this course, you'll need someone to tell you where to hit the ball. Lucky for us we had a friendly person join us. Lots of blind holes, rolling hills and uneven lies. You are expected to play quickly and marshalls are there to push people along. Not a place to lally gag along. Other golfers there were rude that day. Lastly, the greens are a mess. You can see them on pictures posted by others.

Course maintenance has gone down

Course maintenance needs some work. Tee boxes and greens were very poor. Not what this course used to be.

It’s been better

Played this course today, and it’s seen better days. The course is hard enough as it is, but the terrible greens didn’t make things any better. I’ve played here a lot in the past and was expecting something way better manicured and taken care of. It’s a shame that they have really let this course go.

What happened to the greens?

Maybe the victim of a bad aeration haircut? Sandy, bumpy, half-bare and spiked up all at once; that's one bad combination! You should probably wait until they grow out and get a proper trim.

Is it too early to reintroduce bunker rakes as touch points?

Unpleasant Return Visit

Having played this course in the past and finding it challenging and in good shape, I was completely surprised by the condition of the course. The Tee boxes were in very bad shape,, fairways generally ok, with some brown spots, but the greens were awful. I have never seen them in such bad shape with some many pot marks and tuffs of grass. Hopefully, they'll correct these problems by next year. At least it looks like they are starting to fix some of the tee boxes.
