Only my second time playing here. The first time was at least 15 to 20 years ago. I really enjoy the layout. All par 4s are of different lengths, really challenges your discipline & strategy. “Do I go for it, or play safe by laying up?” Few holes are just brutal because they are like link style, and you can’t even see where you’re suppose to hit the ball to.

Condition is a bit poor, in mid October. All tee boxes are in desperate need of repairs. Fairways look like they need to recuperate after a long summer. Green seems to be built on top of a thick layer of sand. When an approach shot lands on the green, it makes a deep impression and pulls up the grass on top. The green is super dry yet very “grabby”. You really need to hit the ball for it to go, and it runs & hops instead of roll.

I would definitely come back to play here in the future. Hopefully, they will get the course back in top shape.

I have played this course many times from the tips(6800 + yards), today’s experience was horrific. The tee boxes barely had grass, uneven, holes, muddy, and some tee boxes no longer existed. With 4 or 5 tee boxes typically per hole barely 1 tee box was playable and as a consequence many of the holes had multiple tee markers together. In addition to the horrible tee boxes was soggy and muddy fairways. Many fairways not have had the grass cut. Speaking of cut, the greens were rolling maybe a 7 or 8. They were so slow and shaggy.

All in all, even though we received a discount because pro shop said the course had not recovered from aeration, still not worth money.

Booked online for $59 since they recently aerated the , but the staff offered an additional $20 dollars off. Which that was great! And that is where the praise stops. The tee boxes were dead or little to no grass at all. Some tee boxes we moved up to the whites since the blue tees were terrible.

Fairways had several dead spots and soggy spots.

Greens were slow from the recent aeration, but they will be fine by the weekend.

This course use to be a 5-5 now it’s a 2-5. Such a shame! Management top to bottom should be shamed !

I will give the break of recent aerated greens. Terrible shape aside from that. Kinda sad, considering how cool the course was 10 yrs ago

Great course.... But tee boxes? Really bad... said they will fix them now that the weather will permit

All the tee boxes had little to no grass and were uneven. Greens had just been aerated even though I called and was told they were not working on the greens. Terrible conditions.

Tee boxes were in bad shape, overall course was in good shape.

90% of the tee boxes we played is dead grass or dirt.

It is severe enough to bother everyone in group because there's craters preventing level footing (mostly ruts, sometimes sloping).

Fairways are decent to good shape so not sure how they managed to screw up tees this badly. Used to really enjoy this course.

Also they took some sort of slicing aeration to the first ~5 holes and it left marks all over green.

This is a challenging course and I caution anyone who doesn't regularly break 100 to maybe skip it.

However, the course is fair and will yield a few birdie opportunities to go with some high scores. The tee boxes are a little messed up, but the prices seem to reflect that. However, the greens were pretty soggy for an afternoon time. Even 30 yard shots were leaving sizable ball marks. The bunkers were playable which I big bonus during covid times.

Generally I think this course should flatten a few mounds and expand the turf area a bit to get more repeat business. 2 of the guys I played with lost a dozen balls (some of them on good shots)

Disappointed! Typically a challenging course but tee box greens are in terrible shape. Not worth the green fees until tee boxes are repaired.

bring extra balls. I always enjoyed the course but it is extremely challenging if you're not hitting the ball straight.

I don’t wish bad for anyone but someone seriously needs to be let go for what they did to this course. For $89 you get a horrible Muni style golf experience. The tee boxes have barely little to no grass, filled with weeds and hard to find a leveled lie. The greens are horribly cut with tons of ball marks and fur spots making for bumpy and inconsistent putting speeds. Obviously they don’t post the conditions because all they want is your money. At least there a carts girls because you’ll be waiting on each hole...average 5 hour round.
