The Bridges Golf Club

Tough course lots of carry areas. Plays very long from the blue tees.

I always have mixed reactions playing The Bridges. I Played 4/23/2013 for probably the 15th time and I always amazed on how pretty and hard it is. Johnny Miller should be penalized 15 yards for unsportsman like conduct.

Narrow driving lanes, long carries and penal rough where you're unlikely to find errand shots make for a potentially rough day if you didn't bring your 'A' game. If you're a 12+ index, I wouldn't break out the new sleeve of Pro Vs.

All of that said, it is still a gorgeous course and a good (not necessarily fair) test .

The only issue was they are replacing bunkers and changing old bunkers to fairway. The course was beautiful, but there was a lot of construction right now. When construction is complete the course will be even nicer.

Greens were plugged but course provided good challenges off the tee. Enjoyed my afternoon there.

Bridges is in the middle of a massive bunkering and grounds
improvement program. It didn't get in the way, but you can see it will make an already challenging course even better.
They have an excellent range (mats) with plenty of targets.
The proshop and restaurant and general grounds maintenance are all country club level. There is potential danger on most holes, but if you can keep it in play, you'll have a great experience.

The Bridges is a very challenging golf course. You have to think your way around the course and plan your shots very carefully. Off the fairway is usually in deep trouble. The greens are very fast with plenty of undulations. The location and scenery are great. Overall, a great day of golf. It will take a few rounds to get familiar with the layout.

The course needs work.All the bunkers are being replaced.
The greens are not as prestigous as before.Overpriced for this course.

The Bridges is a fun course to play with fairways that have lots of variety. You need to think your way around the course.

Very challenging course. Can be frustrating due to narrow fairways and losing a lot of balls. Has forced carrys that require lay ups or long drives. Greens are challenginf with lots of breaks. Be prepared for higher than normal scores.

Pro shop did not book me @ 12:20pm. They had me tee off @ 12:50pm

Course was in great shape, greens were soft, receptive and rolled true. They are performing some moderate course reconditioning, they are taking some bunkers out and adding some new ones. So other than occassional work crew on the course, the views are fantastic with challenging holes.

Very good condition and very challenging. However, the pace was not good enough. The group in front of my group was too slow and I didn't see martial try to correct that.

I was somewhat disappointed in this course. It's definitely a challenge but I was expecting better conditions. Bunkers were mediocre and the course seems to have some serious drainage issues. The thing that surprised me the most was the speed of the greens. I was expecting them to be quick but not so. Even on a dry day they were very slow. I also think there are some hokey holes on this track, just sort of awkward. That being said there are also some gems. Don't get me wrong its worth getting out on, especially if you can find a good rate. However, to really enjoy this course you probably need to play it four or five times and Im not feeling it that much.

Fun course to play - very challenging - definitely for the more skilled and lower handicap player!

It is primarily a beautiful course and very challenging. However, the conditions were really bad, most of the bunkers were unplayable and the grass was long.

The groups in front were slow and the group imediately in front was, however, compensated by the dozens of balls they found in the bushes, another reason for the slow play.

The two guys playing in our group left and disappeared after the 7th hole but I do not blame them. I could only manage to play 15 holes in 4 1/4 hours.

It spoiled my day.

I was so excited and expected to play this course. Because this course's green fee is expensive. But my expectation is broken.
Course is wet and sleepy even though raining was 5 days ago, pace is horrible.

Pretty pleasing course. Some slower players would not let us through but the Marshall's helped out. Bring your target golf here. Fun hitting over hazards but lost a few golf balls here!

The course is very difficult from the back tees as the landing areas are often barely visible and many tee shots require less than driver or a solid ability to shape a tee shot. The green complexes are interesting and offer challenging up and downs, but the greens themselves are frequently bumpy, patchy, and generally haggered. The surfaces used to be better - not sure if it's a volume issue or if they're softening them to ease play, but something's going on there. Overall, play forward of where you would normally and expect bumpy greens if you're not going out early.

The course was in great shape and played a round in 4 hours (3 PM tee time). Definitely purchase a yardage book at the pro shop since there are a few blind tee shots. Awesome deal to play for $35.
