Championship at Hollybrook Golf & Tennis Club

The course itself is fun and in great condition. Tees and greens are in summer condition but that still beats 95% of public courses. Fairways and bunkers were pretty good. Overall 0 complaints about the course.

The staff, if you could find them, not helpful for a first timer. No cups for your water on a 92 degree day. WTF is that? When asked, staff, once I found someone to ask, replied that people were leaving them on the course. Now we all have to suffer! SMH!

Bought a token for the driving range. I asked.. where do I get the balls? Staff member replies: at the machine. Considering you just handed me a token, I kind of knew that. Where is the machine? Well it turns out, you have drive your cart past the 18th hole, which is across the street and then down the road to even get to the “machine” and the range.. Is everyone getting the picture here?

Again, 0 complaints about the course itself. Bring your own cup! Expect to wait for your cart attendant to get you a cart. For god sakes don’t ask where the Range balls are, just read this review and that will be more helpful.

Pace of play would have dramatically improved if there was a ranger

No one in the pro shop so had to pay for the round at the turn

Better than average condition for an old course layout

At first glance the building architectural design tells it dates back to the 70’s. But don’t let appearances fool you; all facilities were cleaned and well maintained. Staff is very helpful and friendly. Fairways are challenging as some were quite narrow for my golfing abilities and the greens are somewhat smaller than average. Course is in good condition. Greens evidenced they were punched several weeks ago and were not compacted, exposing some dented (punched) areas. I found the speed of greens slower than I prefer. Overall, I highly recommend this course. You get the value for the money you pay.

Course was in very good condition. Pace of play was good for a Saturday. Excellent value for the quality of of the course. Highly recommended.

This course is in very good condition and it is a challenging course, fun to play. But, this is south Florida in summer heat. They have an ice machine but no cups. What good is ice/water if you dont have a cup? In this heat, this is just unacceptable and there was no beverage cart on the course at all. At the middle price level for this course, not having cups to protect golfers from dehydration is just hard to understand. Also, pro shop has no change. Sorry to the guys who helped me with my bag, but I cant tip $20.00 so I suggest they start carrying change since they are being shorted unfairly.

Hollybrook is a private course that opens to the public off season. The course is in excellent shape and is a great layout

Course was in great shape, greens were firm but ran around 9. Bunkers were in great shape, overall very good course. The course is right in front of you with water strategically placed. 2 thumbs up.

Great layout. Played the Green tees - 6000+ but plays longer because of the elevated greens and wind direction today. Fast greens but difficult to read as it appears the grass is colored in some places. Undulating/sloping fairways test approach shots. 2 of the Par 5s on the shorter side but challenging nonetheless. You must try to keep the ball below the hole to 2 putt on all the greens. Played as a single for 9 holes before teaming up with a 2-some behind. Play was slow so it was difficult to get into a rhythm. Will play again & hopefully the pace of play will be better

Cours worth to play. Fairways, greens and t-boxes in very good conditions (which is not normal in every olace in florida). Interesting layout. Clubs for free (ok, they were not super ones).

Pleasance weather and golf course in a fantastic condition , we will return for sure
