Flamingo Lakes Country Club in Pembroke Pines is one of the area's best-kept secrets. The layout is challenging but it is also very forgiving, making it accessible for players of any skill level. The course differs from other golf courses in the area due to its hilly terrain. Elevation changes are not common occurrences on Florida golf courses but you'll find several tricky uneven lies on this one. It also stands out for its superb conditions. Water hazards come into play on almost every hole, presenting some interesting risk-reward opportunities. There are also several strategically placed bunkers lurking throughout. The layout requires thought and strategy in order to score well. Flamingo Lakes isn't long, instead it provides a quick and challenging round that can be played in less than four hours.

Great time
Great course even though a little rain passed through. Had a great time and definitely will be back!
Great Golf Course
Despite the fact that currently you can only play the first 9 holes due to repairs on the second 9 holes. It was a great day yesterday.
Great place for practice
Course is being worked on so we had to play the first nine over again and friendly staff loud people it was great they definitely need to do something about their car pass but overall great day
No Back Nine
Was unable to play back nine. Wasn’t made aware that I
wouldn’t be able to play back nine until I arrived .
Back 9 closed for construction
No mention by GolfNow when I booked on line that back 9 was closed for construction. Pro Shop announced it when checking in but was already too late to golf somewhere else. Moreover, the front 9 is much shorter than the back 9, so it was a very disappointing day.
Only Half the Course is Open
The back nine was closed for repairs, I think. I wasn't advised at check in.
What you should know
They're working on the back nine so if you play 18 holes you have to play the front nine twice
As Expected
Half the course was closed due to construction, so had to play the front 9 twice. Also there was not a driving range available to hit before the round. Staff was friendly and the condition of the course was as expected for this price point. I will most likely be playing this course again for this price point.
Back Nine is Closed at this Time
Buyer beware! When I signed up, I was unaware that the back nine was closed & that we had to replay the front. It’s a fun course but that wasn’t such a great deal. At the defense of Golf Now, it was NOT showing when we made the reservation but it did mention it on the confirmation. I don’t generally read those thoroughly….
Not the greatest but not the worst
I don’t know if it was me but the the course seems a little small. Bunch of par 4’s but they were easy
Nice course layout and easy to have a good time playing.
Very rainy day all around the area, but we didn't have any while we played. Not many people were on the course due to weather conditions, but it worked out to our advantage. Had a great day, course was in good condition, but only had front nine holes open for play. Back nine closed for play due to reworking on greens.
Only nine holes
Was not informed that at this time the course only has the front nine available. Played the front nine twice. It wasn't bad, but disappointing.
Fantastic Improvements
The front nine has been upgraded fantastically. The fairways are nicely manicured. The greens are unbelievably smooth and clean green.
This course easily rates among the best in Miami-Dade and Broward Counties.
The pace of play would greatly benefit with the present of a course monitor.
The amenities would benefit with the addition of an expanded practice area (for driving and chipping specifically).
