About
Flamingo Lakes Country Club in Pembroke Pines is one of the area's best-kept secrets. The layout is challenging but it is also very forgiving, making it accessible for players of any skill level. The course differs from other golf courses in the area due to its hilly terrain. Elevation changes are not common occurrences on Florida golf courses but you'll find several tricky uneven lies on this one. It also stands out for its superb conditions. Water hazards come into play on almost every hole, presenting some interesting risk-reward opportunities. There are also several strategically placed bunkers lurking throughout. The layout requires thought and strategy in order to score well. Flamingo Lakes isn't long, instead it provides a quick and challenging round that can be played in less than four hours.

Golfer Reviews
Fantastic Improvements
The front nine has been upgraded fantastically. The fairways are nicely manicured. The greens are unbelievably smooth and clean green.
This course easily rates among the best in Miami-Dade and Broward Counties.
The pace of play would greatly benefit with the present of a course monitor.
The amenities would benefit with the addition of an expanded practice area (for driving and chipping specifically).
Only Front Nine Open at this Time
Buyer beware - this is a great little course which we enjoy most of the time, but I was unaware (and didn't read my confirmation email) that only the FRONT NINE is open and for 18 holes, you will be re-playing the front nine. Golf Now should post this in the booking area as well.
John Herzberg at Flamingo Lakes
Played this front nine twice as the back nine is being rejuvenated the greens were in excellent shape a little fast but very readable fairways were in decent shape the boxes were in great shape had a fun day played 18 holes in three hours and 10 minutes I definitely recommend this course to play again
Flamingo
Showed up after booking 18 holes and half the course was under repair. Also they do not have gps advertised.
I called Golfpass to register a sincere complaint about my round. I believe I spoke to a Catherine.
Pro shop not open really warm day no cart girl and no amenities could not even purchase water at the turn brutal service
Great course! Excellent value for South Florida in early
april.. A true diamond in the rough!
Picturesque challenging course
Interesting and challenging course layout with forward tees that make the game a pleasant for all levels of play.
Cart
If the course is open and there are people on the course the should have a cart with snacks and drinks. Apparently Mondays they do not. They should adjust that.
Much better condition than Bonaventure or Greynolds. Would play here again.
