About
Flamingo Lakes Country Club in Pembroke Pines is one of the area's best-kept secrets. The layout is challenging but it is also very forgiving, making it accessible for players of any skill level. The course differs from other golf courses in the area due to its hilly terrain. Elevation changes are not common occurrences on Florida golf courses but you'll find several tricky uneven lies on this one. It also stands out for its superb conditions. Water hazards come into play on almost every hole, presenting some interesting risk-reward opportunities. There are also several strategically placed bunkers lurking throughout. The layout requires thought and strategy in order to score well. Flamingo Lakes isn't long, instead it provides a quick and challenging round that can be played in less than four hours.

Golfer Reviews
Rude!!!!
So we get to the course a hour early to grab a bite to eat and practice. Only to find out the restaurant was not open, when asking the two guys in the golf shop if there was anything to eat in the complex, rudely you won’t be eating here! Do you know any where in the area we can eat? I show a place over by the club house, then he says, well do they have a number? Call them and find out. Well ok then. Then the “starter” or lack there of, holds our clubs and refuses to put them on a cart so we can go practice. I asked can we get our clubs loaded so I can go practice? I will get to them and send you out at your tee time! Well, we had been there for an hour and they didn’t load our clubs until it was time to tee off. Never again will I play this course!!
Picturesque challenging fun course
Great features, friendly for seniors. Pleasant round of golf.
A very deceptive round
our foursome started at 9:15 and we ended at 14:35; close to 6 hours because of the four golfers ahead of us who obviously had never played golf before; despite the fact we called upon the marshall at the fith hole, it made no difference and we had no other choice but to endure this terrible situation; it really spoiled our round and our day.
First time
Overall a challenging course. No amenities at the course not even any water
Challenging shorter course in good condition
A shorter course that is senior friendly and offers challenging holes with undulating fairways and greens and water featured on almost every hole.
The course is well maintained and staff are friendly, making for a very pleasant roun of golf.
Course just ok
Course was pretty much average for what you get in this part of southern Florida. The greens have definitely improved since I last played which was about three years ago. It’s a nice challenging holes lots of water. You have to be pretty self-sufficient there is no cart service while on the course. Staff were courteous.
very challenging
This is not a course for beginners; it is very, very challenging. lots of water and hidden greens
Pleasantly surprised!
Last time I played Flamingo Lakes was right after a rain storm in late 2020. The course was a mess so. Really didn’t know what to expect so I was really excited to see how well it is being maintained. Greens were great, sand traps actually had nice white sand and the staff was great. Too bad there is no beverage cart on the course.
