Flamingo Lakes Country Club in Pembroke Pines is one of the area's best-kept secrets. The layout is challenging but it is also very forgiving, making it accessible for players of any skill level. The course differs from other golf courses in the area due to its hilly terrain. Elevation changes are not common occurrences on Florida golf courses but you'll find several tricky uneven lies on this one. It also stands out for its superb conditions. Water hazards come into play on almost every hole, presenting some interesting risk-reward opportunities. There are also several strategically placed bunkers lurking throughout. The layout requires thought and strategy in order to score well. Flamingo Lakes isn't long, instead it provides a quick and challenging round that can be played in less than four hours.

Nice day at Flamingo
Course is in good shape. Tight fairways make challenging drives and second shots on some holes. Holes 8, 10 and 11 are holes you can get a big score on. Other holes are easier so you have a chance to score low on them. Greens are not fast but not slow and have breaks.
Well run course
Great condition. Greens putt true. Super friendly staff.

Nice layout. Course condition was good. Quite slow round and there were some mess at start, our flight members were changed three times.
Staff is miserable
Course very enjoyable for vacation. Outside of that I can’t say a single good thing about this place. Absolutely terribly ran. Staff is completely useless. No one has any idea how to run a golf course. Our group wasn’t allowed to take a cart to the first tee until the group ahead of us went to the tee box so we couldn’t go to the putting green. We teed off half an hour after our time. Pace was horrendous. Starter was incompetent and didn’t know how to do his job from the beginning. Half way house worker has no idea how to work. There is no menu of what so ever for drinks or food. The carts say you can order drinks on the course to be delivered since there is no drink cart, but this is not possible. The website with the QR code does not work. Would not recommend playing here unless you bring your own drinks and don’t want to deal with any staff.
Staff are Miserable and Not Interested
The course itself is acceptable for vacation golf. However, the staff is rude, unprepared and did a horrifying job of managing the flow of golf. It seemed that each staff member was on their first day, or just mad to be at work. I would not go back unless it was one of the last options in the area. The staff made the day much worse than it should have been. Too bad, the course is pretty nice.
ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE
Easily the worst managed golf course is south Florida. Staff is rude and sucks at their jobs. Tee times running 45 minutes behind and no one cares. Ranger has an attitude and does nothing to accommodate horrible management. I would rather quit golf forever than give these miserable sacks of crap $1.
