Flamingo Lakes Country Club in Pembroke Pines is one of the area's best-kept secrets. The layout is challenging but it is also very forgiving, making it accessible for players of any skill level. The course differs from other golf courses in the area due to its hilly terrain. Elevation changes are not common occurrences on Florida golf courses but you'll find several tricky uneven lies on this one. It also stands out for its superb conditions. Water hazards come into play on almost every hole, presenting some interesting risk-reward opportunities. There are also several strategically placed bunkers lurking throughout. The layout requires thought and strategy in order to score well. Flamingo Lakes isn't long, instead it provides a quick and challenging round that can be played in less than four hours.

First time
Staff was friendly and helpful. No waiting and going at our pace during the round. More details on how we could get something to eat and drink on the turn. Would have been helpful at the start as no one came around to off drinks during our round of golf , maybe because it was a week day ?? Overall I would definitely be back to play.
Decent layout; lots of water
Pace of play was good on front mine. Slowed down on back. Best of 3 courses I have played in area but my wife was not a fan, greens were good and also fast. Water on most holes but all on side, Grass on fairways thin but that seems typical in the area.
Nice land and a good condition
My wife and I had a Good timing playing This Course it was one of the nicer courses we played
Below average
The course is not worth the green fee. Lots of weeds and bare patches on the fairway. The greens are slow and inconsistent from one to the other. We finished the round in 5hrs. Unfortunately there weren’t any positive points in our opinion besides the staff being friendly.
Out of carts
we were delayed 45 minutes due to the lack of golf carts, they were not enough, so we have to wait until someone finish his round,
Poor Course
Greens in good shape, but rest of course is a plain field with no definition or character of any kind. Boring course
Greens: public look, private feel
Fairly standard public course with the exception of the greens, while they may not be perfect and do have the typical public course issues, they are faster than the typical "Orangebrook" style greens, which made for a more pleasurable round overall.

Great course. Staff supper. Pace of play was not so good. No marshals. Group in front reteed a lot
Good challenging course
The course is in great shape! Just wish the 9th finished at the clubhouse to go in for another beverage for the back 9.
