Flamingo Lakes Country Club in Pembroke Pines is one of the area's best-kept secrets. The layout is challenging but it is also very forgiving, making it accessible for players of any skill level. The course differs from other golf courses in the area due to its hilly terrain. Elevation changes are not common occurrences on Florida golf courses but you'll find several tricky uneven lies on this one. It also stands out for its superb conditions. Water hazards come into play on almost every hole, presenting some interesting risk-reward opportunities. There are also several strategically placed bunkers lurking throughout. The layout requires thought and strategy in order to score well. Flamingo Lakes isn't long, instead it provides a quick and challenging round that can be played in less than four hours.

Pretty good for the money
This course has improved. Fairways are much better Tee boxes are good. Greens are fair to good now. Enjoyed the course
Would Play Again
Nice course the roughs too high off the fairways. Nice Course layout is nice and fun with plenty of water. Pace of play was slow and the Marshall did nothing to speed it up. I would play again but NOT on the weekend.

Overall the course is in good shape. The greens are also in very good condition. My two complaints are the lack of a cart girl for beverages, and yardage markers on every hole since the carts lack a GPS system. Aside from that, good round for the money.

Friendly first six holes, then it gets progressively difficult. The course is in good shape but the amenities are limited. There not even a place to grab a cold drink on the course.

Me and my dad love this course, always beautiful plenty of nature, this recent round the course is in better shape than most of the others in the area and the greens were not bad at all! Fairways had some balding spots and rough spots but nothing too inconvenient. Will be back soon!
Excellent course
This challenging course is in great shape even after heavy rainfall. Greens are well kept.
Lawnmower
I usually give this court 3.5/5.0 but I would give a 2 because the lawnmower had no courtesy and respect to golfer. He literally run the lawnmower 20 feet to me when I was about to hit. This happened twice when I play course same guy that run the lawnmower. So annoyed… I won’t come back to this course unless he learns how to work for the golf course environment.
