Green is really fast and challenging. Beautiful course. Will come back and play again.
Great Day At Atkins
Had a great practice round at Atkins Golf Club. Course was in great shape. Greens are quick and difficult, but that just makes the birdies even sweeter. Got to meet the club pro on the first tee. Was great to chat with him about the course. The marshal did a great job of regulating play. Can’t wait to come back.
Breezy but beautiful
Enjoyed a great day of golf at Adkins...course was in great shape, greens are faster than any other course I've played in Illinois so a little challenging to get used to. It was pretty windy but that kept us nice and cool. Staff was very nice. Pace wad a little slow due to a small outing playing ahead of us a few holes, but nothing too bad. Play Adkins...you will enjoy it!
Great course
Great golf course that’s in very good condition. A little expensive at full price, but a great deal was available on TeeOfff. Looking forward to getting back later this Summer..
First play at IL
A wonderful experience. Friendly staff, nice people, excellent view!
Pro shop
Didn’t receive a bag of range balls like normal. Girl behind the counter is eating fish and rice while checking in. By no means professional. Kinda got hounded and felt like Larry David. Never had this happen before. Hopefully next time during the week I can get back to experiences like the previous one’s I have of this course. Course was not being marshaled well. Play was slower than average.
Impressive
I used to play this course when it was called Stone Creek GC and I loved to playing it. Now it is called Atkins GC and when I thought the course couldn't get any better, I was wrong. This course has upgraded and improved in so many areas. The layout now, the greens, the bunkers, everything! I thought I was playing somewhere out of state. What a great experience there today and the staff was excellent! Highly recommended and it's 5 stars all day.
Absolute gem of a course
Course conditions were excellent for it being this late in the season. Greens are on the more challenging side, but fair, firm and fast.. Wonderfully designed layout, with challenging visuals. Watch out for the water on #2 approach if you're a first time player of Atkins.
Staff was friendly and responsive. Practice area and clubhouse facilities some of the best in the area.
A gem of a course. If you're in the area, and play golf, I highly recommend Atkins.
Great layout and conditions
This course is really nice layout and conditions. Played a month ago in the drought, and tees to greens were still green. Now that we’ve had rain the last couple weeks, the whole course has greened up. Fairways and greens are manicured so well. Tough to hold greens without spin from the fairway. Many sets of tees for my wife, daughter and I to all be challenged. Staff were friendly.

The course
is hard as ever,staying in fairways is important, the sand is probably the best I have played in a long time, the staff was very friendly and I would recommend playing here
Immaculate
I was able to play at my own pace as a single on a beautiful Sunday morning. The course was perfect. Staff were all friendly. Really nothing bad to say.
A Quick Review of the Property
I couldn’t play my round bc I couldn’t get there in time, which I was super bummed about as I’m not local to the area. I did come late and use their facilities.
Beautiful grass tees on the range, good chipping and putting area, and excellent clubhouse. Not a bad word to say. Course looked gorgeous, can’t wait to play someday. I was left very impressed.
Awesome
Course was in great shape considering so early in season. This was our first time here.
Layout is challenging, but fair. Rough definitely penalized you if you missed fairway.
Bunkers were well maintained.
We will play here again! Looking forward to seeing how this plays in season.
