Riverwood Golf Club

Course was in great condition, nice layout and a friendly staff. We had lunch before our round, food was excellent along with a very engaging server.

Excellent course and excellent service. The course is an excellent layout and is in great shape. Well worth the cost.

Riverwood is a great course that is good for all levels of player. Always in tip top shape and even though it is a neighborhood course the houses are not really intrusive and pretty much out of play.

For me, Riverwood is the #1 golf course in Florida. No question. Everyone enjoys playing on such a well-kept course. That's why appropriate maintenance is needed. This means that there are times when the golf course needs to be over-seeded. Then it says “Cart Path Only!” That was the case. The pace of play is then much slower, because you're not allowed to drive the cart on the fairways. Everyone knows and sticks to it.

The fact that the Marshall reacted very exaggeratedly, when I was standing on the grass next to the restrooms at tee #5 with two wheels, so that other carts could pass, is absolutely unacceptable. Especially since the grass there wasn't newly sown. This guy was already pretty unfriendly at the Starter house. It is not appropriate to talk to guests in such a tone.

The staff from the pro shop, restaurant and bag drop was very friendly and accommodating as always.

Beware, don't play here unless you talk to the staff and see what is going on. When we played I got soaked with their sprinkler system which was going on almost every hole. There where 4 greens that I could not play because the watering was so intense that I used a ball retriever to recue my ball off the green. There was standing water over a inch deep right on the greens. The fairways also had many area's where is was standing water and were soaked. It was not raining out, they did this on purpose and still accepted our money and sent us out. Should have asked for a refund

Nothing on Golf Now or the Riverwood web site, but read the ratings from Yesterday and saw where they are overseedind and heavily watering the fairways. Cart Path only and slow play. If you find a hot deal, and have no issues walking, you can play this wonderful course at a bargain price.

We made reservation on GolfNow. We knew the course from previous play. Nice course, nice layout. Upset with GolfNow that we were not notified that overseeing had been done. It was cart path only. Sprinkler came on constantly. Took 5 hours to play. We finished in the dark. We were told by staff that their website indicated the overseeing parameters but we were not told ahead by GolfNow even hough they should have known. Not a pleasant experience. GolfNow should have been upfront about it.

Great golfcourse in perfect shape, absolute challenging, absolute worth the 4.5 stars of Golf Digest. A must for every good golfer.
