Riverwood Golf Club

Course was a bit wet in some spots, and you could tell grass wasn't able to be cut in some area due to it. But overall course was in great shape even after a recent aeration.

We had a terrible encounter with the staff at Riverwood. We were eaten by thousands of mosquitos, which they reluctantly admitted they were aware of, yet they gave no warnings, no bug spray (not even to buy). The staff (John) suggested we call back for a raincheck, so we left and treated our many bite/welts. But when we called back, as suggested, morning staff refused to honor the need for a rain check. The staff person on the phone was extremely rude, dismissive and unsympathetic. He refused to do anything whatsoever to help make it right, and expressed no sympathy. He stated that since we paid a twilight rate, we should get nothing under any circumstances, apparently because that made us unworthy customers for fair treatment? Obviously, we won't be returning.

The State and City should investigate the handling of the mosquito problem at Riverwood. This course needs to take responsibility, spray, and provide bug repellent, at least for purchase. And they should warn twilight players of the issue, not simply take their money and run.

First time at Riverwood. Challenging and generally in good condition other than the recently aerated greens.

The course was in amazing condition. The people were extremely friendly. I can’t say enough about this place

I have played thus course many times. It's a really good challenging layout, always in good condition. It's not over developed with houses and many of the holes run through pristine Florida wetlands. Highly recommended.

Riverwood is just a beautiful course to play, nice and quiet, the conditions are a 9/10, greens are in wonderful shape, fairways nicely mowed and manicured, flower beds, bushes, etc. are always kept clean of debri. It is more challenging from the blues, or really challenging from the whites. Staff are wondeful, the starter is full of golf knowlege of courses in the surrounding areas, Mollie the cart girl is the best.
