Easy in and Out
I go to John A. White regularly to practice at the range. This is my first time out with my wife for a leisurely Sunday 9hole. Booking was easy, and the cart was ready to go when we arrived. The only gripe I have is with the other groups; we were behind two slower-paced groups, and we had some folks behind us who were impatient. John a White is my home course, so it works for me... it's a decent value, and it's easy to get in and out.

Decent 9 hole course
Part of the Atlanta Municipal group of courses. Pretty spartan clubhouse and amenities, but this course was in decent shape compared to some of the other ATL Muni courses I have played. I would play it again if I weren't trying to play as many different courses as possible @thequestfor3000

Better kept inner city course. Played a few balls to work on the game with no time pressure. Play the blues

Great 9 hole course
John A. White has become one of favorite 9-hole courses. It’s relatively close to home, the course challenges me, the staff is friendly, and the price is beyond fair.

Big improvement in Course Conditions
The greens have been repaired and play normally. It’s a short course but fun to play. Remember it’s only nine holes. Pace of play has always been and still is slow. Lots of beginners. No restaurant. I’d recommend it as an alternative if you get shut out of a full course.

Great course for the price
I was pleasantly surprised with the course conditions. Great place to play a cheap 9 holes. It was a fun lay out. It was very short and not a whole lot of drivers off the tee but it was very fun!

Surprisingly fun and interesting layout that was a BLAST
Okay, so this course probably won’t compete with Augusta or Pebble Beach, but it was quite fun. It is really short and has a number of “risk vs. reward” type holes. The greens run slow and need some work, but the effort to improve the overall conditions on the course is apparent. The staff were incredibly helpful and even walked outside to explain the unusual 9 hole layout - and it is definitely unusual. Cart was clean, well powered and had a usb charger and scorecard and pencil at the ready.
We raced around 9 holes in less than two hours; try doing THAT anywhere in Atlanta on a nice Sunday afternoon. Course has a decent driving range that stretches to about 225 yards. No drivers, but lots of varied flags, plus a chipping green and practice bunker and TWO putting greens. I experienced all of this for less than the cost of a large bucket of balls. I would also like to acknowledge how pleasant everyone I met was towards myself and 19 year old son, who is a beginner. Other players, maintenance, etc. were unfailingly courteous.
John White course and staff, you are doing it right. We will be back.
