Great 9 hole course
John A. White has become one of favorite 9-hole courses. It’s relatively close to home, the course challenges me, the staff is friendly, and the price is beyond fair.

Big improvement in Course Conditions
The greens have been repaired and play normally. It’s a short course but fun to play. Remember it’s only nine holes. Pace of play has always been and still is slow. Lots of beginners. No restaurant. I’d recommend it as an alternative if you get shut out of a full course.

Great course for the price
I was pleasantly surprised with the course conditions. Great place to play a cheap 9 holes. It was a fun lay out. It was very short and not a whole lot of drivers off the tee but it was very fun!

Surprisingly fun and interesting layout that was a BLAST
Okay, so this course probably won’t compete with Augusta or Pebble Beach, but it was quite fun. It is really short and has a number of “risk vs. reward” type holes. The greens run slow and need some work, but the effort to improve the overall conditions on the course is apparent. The staff were incredibly helpful and even walked outside to explain the unusual 9 hole layout - and it is definitely unusual. Cart was clean, well powered and had a usb charger and scorecard and pencil at the ready.
We raced around 9 holes in less than two hours; try doing THAT anywhere in Atlanta on a nice Sunday afternoon. Course has a decent driving range that stretches to about 225 yards. No drivers, but lots of varied flags, plus a chipping green and practice bunker and TWO putting greens. I experienced all of this for less than the cost of a large bucket of balls. I would also like to acknowledge how pleasant everyone I met was towards myself and 19 year old son, who is a beginner. Other players, maintenance, etc. were unfailingly courteous.
John White course and staff, you are doing it right. We will be back.

Honestly not a bad course! , the greens just suck , can’t make a birdie putt on bumpy greens lol

Decent Muni - only 9 holes
The opening Par 5 is a nice elevated tee box at the tips, which I waited 20 minutes after my scheduled tee time to be able to hit. The whole round was agonizingly slow. By the time I made it to 9 it was just shy of 3 hours. At the turn there were 5 groups lined up at Tee 1. I called it quits at that point.
The Pace is slow because there is no Ranger or Marshal to move things along and I witnessed the group of 3 in front of me hitting no less that 9 balls off the tee box as they looked like they were playing for the first time. This continued the whole round.
Greens are OK but very bumpy and missing grass in many areas and the tee boxes are in just OK shape. They need to be leveled and seeded.
If they can find a way to move things along it would be a nice track.

Great course but inefficient
We paid for 18 and had an 1150 am tee time. We got there at 1130 but didn’t get teed off till 115 due to lack of carts. The course was great and the staff was nice. The pace was very slow due to walkers getting periodically teed off. We didn’t get done with our first 9 till 330 with an 1150 tee time and had to leave. Lots of potential but they need to figure out their operational issues. I wish we could get our money back for the second 9.

Golf Niw bookings need to be integral part of tee rides so course will not overbook.

Poor pace of play. Do not play 18 on the weekend unless you want 5 hours of frustration. Pay for what you get.
