John A. White Golf Course

The entrance to the “temporary club house” is currently the building near the driving range which is closed. Park on the street across from the store and walk down the stairs.

I picked this course up for a last min “hot deal” on GN. I was super impressed. From Alabama in town for a meeting and had some time to kill and this challenging 9 hole course was well manicured. Tee time at 8:30 and by the time I got to the 9th they were finishing up mowing the last hole. The sprinklers kinda gave me a shower as I headed back to the clubhouse.

Awesome place to play and grab knowledge from the grounds men that play and maintain the course absolute awesome course for it being a public course the greens are awesome

I had to wait 90 minutes for a golf cart. The fence entry is on a busy street. The entry should be on the side street..

I made a tee time in the morning before my flight and played an enjoyable 9-holes.

The Good: Staff was extremely nice, greens were pristine except for 1 & 2, approach on several of the holes was the same (elevated green from fairway) so it gave me the chance to try some strategies out.

The Bad: a couple of groups of slow playing knuckleheads were holding everybody up. I had to start on 4 and played at my pace. When I circled back to 1, there was still a traffic jam and I saw those same knuckleheads were teeing off on 5 for 15 minutes. Staff is shorthanded for things like that but they told me afterward to just call them if I see people not respecting pace of play next time.

The course was very open and had good range it was soaked when I played so conditions were a little rough and some greens looked rough but overall fun course u get what u pay for I would play again

The only issue I encountered was there are not enough golf carts available at this course, so if you're willing to walk you can actually get ahead of golfers that are waiting for returned golf carts that pushes your tee time back. I actually teed off 20 minutes after my original tee time.

Course is pretty good. The construction is kinda annoying and they made me share a cart which was weird. Still a great value for fifteen bucks though

Got on early and played 9. Staff always friendly and knowledgeable

Course in good shape, they are putting in work on tee boxes and greens

Best 9 you can play in ATl

The greens were nice! I was a single and they matched me some really cool people.
