SLOW PLAY
Course was in good shape. Staff was friendly. But they really need a marshall on the weekends. Pace of play is ridiculously slow. Had to wait on every single shot. That really can ruin an otherwise fun golf outing.
a lovely fall day
staff are great.
but having the toilet not available is a real problem. let's get this fixed ASAP
course is very dry but then we've had no rain
we had a good time
Fun layout
Fun layout, greens were beat up and slow. Fairways were okay.
Sweet
One of Atlanta’s sweetest munis. Interesting layout, cool people, very respectable conditions. Highly recommended for a quick, enjoyable 9.
For $18, you get what you pay for
My tee time was for 8:30am on a Thursday. I was a single, walking. I had to wait in the pro shop for 10 minutes for someone to arrive so I could pay and start playing. They send me out solo. First hole, no problem; second hole, there were seven people on the green. Yep, they put a single behind a 7some. 7 teenagers. 7 terrible players that wouldn't let me play through. All by myself (11hdc) 9 holes, 4.25 hours. Will never play here again. Proshop is not very nice and even if they served food, I definitely wouldn't eat it.
Save your money
I played this course for the first time. I arrived 20 minutes early for my 4:40 pm tee time. I was immediately asked if walking was an option, but due to a knee injury, it was not for me. I was assured a cart would be ready soon. While waiting a full 30 minutes for my cart, I watched a group of eight people, including at least one staff member for the course, Tee off on the wrong hole. Two of the eight in this group were not even golfers But videographers for the staffers podcast. Yet I was waiting on their cart as a paying customer.
Immediately upon beginning my round, I ended up behind a separate group of six. An hour and a half after my scheduled tee time, I had played two holes. The conditions at this course are pretty good, But it is a disorganized mess. Pace of play was hellacious, and what should have been a quick 9 on a seemingly slow weekday evening became a chaotic and unredeemable trudge. I would not come back here for free.
A little confusing but
They need better signings it’s very confusing. However once you figure it out you will like it. The course is in good condition. Is a great practice course.
Great course ruined by pace of play.
I love playing this course. Typically it’s a great value, beautifully maintained, a challenging layout, and one of my favorite 9 hole courses in the area. Unfortunately the past few weeks the pace of play has ruined the overall enjoyment of the course. A course ranger matching up twosome’s and keeping the pace of play moving would really work wonders. When a foursome is taking 20+ minutes per hole and causing a major pileup behind them, it’d be great if someone were keeping them in check.
Great Value. First Tee Program Provider.
This by far the best value course in Atlanta. It's a 9-hole course, so if you plan to play 18 holes just play the back 9 from different tees for a different challenge. It's also one of the host courses for Atlanta's First Tee program. The coaches at First Tee not only provide an introduction to junior golf and an opportunity to enhance golf skills, but they also create a safe, supportive, and empowering environment to help children prepare for life ahead, including friendships, school, college and even their careers. You can round up your total to assist!
