Fairways of Canton Golf Club

Unless you are good enough to keep the ball on the fairway or the greens it's an egg hunt anywhere else. The rough is 6" deep in spots and you can walk right over the ball and never see it. I'm told that it's a "concern that will be addressed". Better course a few miles west IMO for right now.

Having played this course many times, my only problem is with no marshalls on the course, we

had to skip a hole in, as players ahead did not know to let the faster players go ahead.

Course itself was in great shape, except for the greens still has sand and dimple marks from being airated. Course is tight in some fairways and some tough pin placement.

Beautiful setting and a nice layout to the course. Fairways and tee boxes are in good condition, sand traps around the greens were good but some of the traps in the fairway needed work. Greens are narrow and multi tiered and had been aerated and sanded. Challenging course where the golfer needs to be able to shape shots, stay out of the rough and not always pull out the driver.

Fairways great, first cut thick and tricky to hit out of, greens medium speed but pretty rough overall picturesque views plan on returning and recommend

Great layout. You need to play it several times to really learn where to hit the ball. Course was in great shape. Greens were a little bumpy, as they were recently punched and had net yet completely smoothed out (just part of course maintenance). Staff was exceptionally friendly. We'll be back.

The staff was friendly, checkin quick and the course was in great shape.

Always enjoyed this course, unfortunatly Green's were still rough from treatment . Course Marshall was asking us to pu pace when had to wait on most holes due to group 3 groups in front.

good layout, excellent condition, great value for money.

The layout is a little funky and the greens are slow but the course is in excellent condition and the staff is oustanding. The course was not crowded so we were able to play in less than 4 hours.

The course at FoC is great for those golfers who like to have multiple ways of playing almost every hole. It's tight fairways and speedy and firm greens make the risk reward of hitting driver often very reasonable. The greens offer a tough test for almost all golfers, as the slope and stem are very extreme. There are very few holes where there is only one way to play them. (15)

While it was good value for the money, the tees can be improved.

Course is in good shape. Fairways are a challenge to hit consistently. Course is mostly up to snuff for quality of green on fairways and off but a few spots on greens are suspect. Greens are almost impossible to conquer per two and three tier on basically every hole.

It's been a few years since I've played here and have come out twice so far this year. Course continues to improve from a few years ago. Today the greens were a little long and slow. Some were sanded in spots and under repair. But overall they were in good shape.

There are a couple of holes that are a bit strange, but that is typical in a mountain course.
