Fairways of Canton Golf Club

This course requires a good drive on most holes to in order to clear a hazard. The course is not long, a few of the holes are drivable; however, the course protects itself with narrow fairways and doglegs. The fairways are in great shape, but the greens need some work or time to grow in. The staff is friendly and helpful, I'll definitely be back.

This was my first time playing Fairways of Canton and it was an okay experience. The layout was fun and challenging but the greens were very hard and need a little work.

The course offers amazing views of the north Georgia hills while providing a challenging but fair course layout.

First time at this beautiful course. Staff were ultra nice and accommodating. Lots of elevation changes with challenges for all levels of golfers. We booked a tee time for the next day as soon as we finished the round.

Has really nice view on the back 9. I paid $32 for a Saruday morning, can't really beat that. Course has some bad spot as in conditions but the most part is in pretty good shape. Well worth the money.

tee boxes could use some improvement and the greens need some help.

Greens were in terrible shape. I also went in to the club house at the turn to get a drink, was ever waited on. It appeared the bar tender as on her lunch break.

The course is tough for its length. Greens are in good shape for Late March and roll true. My game was not up to the challenge. A low handicap player would enjoy this course. Not so much the high handicap player. Great facilities and friendly staff. When my game gets better, I'll be back.

Course was in good shape for dead of winter. Greens were dwarf Burmuda so they were dormant this time of year. Some greens were better than others. Highly recommend.

It was very picturesque and about 60 degrees in December.

This was not my first time playing this course, so I have learned some of the shot placements. The multilevel greens require accurate approach shots and they are fast. On several holes I was behind the green a few feet from the hole and rolled past and down the tier 30+feet away. I need to work on ball spin, but it was challenging. Well maintained course with excellent views.

The course is not very long at all but you have to know where to place your ball off the tee. The greens are multi tiered and very fast. We played on a Saturday and finished in under 3 and 1/2 hours. There was not beverage cart which was a little disappointing. Other than that it was worth the price.

I played with residents, so I had a "caddie" of sorts. Several Par 4's are short but require precise lines. Add 1 club on most approaches.

This is a challenging course. Many, but not all, fairways are narrow. Greens are very fast. If you are not a regular expect to shoot at least +10 your normal score. Mostly because of the greens. Three putting is the norm. The course is well kept and food and beverage were great. Great value.

Friendly staff, great price! Greens are tough to read. You need to know where to hit your greens! I three putted four times!! Had a blast, thank you!

I hate to leave an unfavorable review and to be clear I did NOT dislike the course, but the reason we leave reviews is to be honest about our own opinions. This course has a few great holes. There are too many double and triple tiered greens for my liking. This makes a short course (which this is) a lot tougher because you wind up with a very small landing area. If this is your thing, you will love the course. My playing companion lost many balls in the rough that should have been found. There are also a few quirky holes. Overall I think this course is around a 3.5. I gave it 3 for the rough conditions and the strange green configurations.

The 18th signature hole is one of the prettiest holes I have seen in Ga.
Challenging layout. Great course but the rough if very tough if you don't keep it in the fairway. Bring lots of balls! LOL Makes me want to come back and play better

The staff was really friendly. I went out on an ugly rainy miserable day and that could have taken away from the experience. Course was in good condition, it was soft due to all the rain. It has some elevation changes and does play tight in some places. I'll give it another try on a better day but overall a good experience.

Played midday weekday. Pace of play OK. Played from the Blue tees. A few pr 4's with elevation a bit far for this 18 handicap golfer! Whites might have been a smarter move.
Extreme elevation changes makes for challenging golf and ride only. Front nine greens have many terraced greens that you can't noticed from fairways.

Overall a good experience. View from 17th green spectacular .
