Fairways of Canton Golf Club

Challenging, but very enjoyable course. Loved playing it even though the weather was wet, cool and windy.

Course has a beautiful clubhouse. Tee boxes were extremely hard and we broke a few tees trying to just put them in the ground. Greens were in pretty good shape. Difficult course, narrow, and a few very tricky greens.

I have played here several times and the conditions have steadily improved over the last 2 years. The fairways were very nice and the greens were in great shape. I teed off first thing as the sun came up and played 18 holes in 2 hours and 15 minutes. The course is very challenging for all skill levels but a few greens have exaggerated tiers that make putting nearly impossible. Otherwise I love the layout and the picturesque views from many holes on the back nine.

the course was pretty challenging from the blue tees. #3/#4 are tough holes and on the back nine there is one hole with a ridiculous fairway. Very slim landing area off the tee. The greens were a little slower than what I am used to but rolls true. Overall, it is a great course in excellent condition and a very friendly staff. I wouldn't mind seeing a mixed tee option on this course

I'd heard about this course from a friend so a friend and I tried it. The first hole is a short par 4 with ample fairway. After that all the fairways got really tight and if you miss left or right don't even think of looking for the ball. High weeds or trees abound.. Some holes are really nice except this weird par 3 with a crazy elevation change and it's a blind shot.. I have no plans of going back..

We tee off on the first hole and drive on the fairway. On the second hole the marshal questions us as to whether we are telling the truth that no one in the club house notified us that it was cart path only. Do not turn your cart in more than 1 minute late as they will force you to get off the course even though they do not notify you when the carts are due back in. Everyone in the club house is nice. For some reason most everyone on the course seems to always question your actions. For instance the last time we played the ranger questioned are cart movement only to hold us up on the last 3 holes even though there was no one else on the course. I am recommending this course because it is a good price and great track. Want others to try, but keep in mind the staff on the course may or may not harass you.

Great views, especially on back 9. From the blues, you can leave the driver in the bag on many holes and play strategic golf. Having not played the course before and playing as a single presented a few issues where layup spots, where to aim on the large undulating greens, etc but, all-in-all, a very enjoyable round. Definitely hit the putting green before your round as the greens are large with lots of breaks.

Some of the rough areas are pretty deep and can swallow your ball away. So be sure to hit the fairways.

Hadn't played the course in a couple of years. Course condition has improved greatly. Good value for money now. Will play again soon

Great Course. Play all types of shots. Greens are rolling and challenging. Scenery is great.

It would be nice for Golf Now to indicate that the greens were aerated. Putting was bumpy and horrible as one would expect. Little frustrating,

Course was good . Need to bring water with you if you won't cold water.

My husband and I played or tried to play Saturday afternoon. First off whoever is in charge of starting needs some serious help. The course was overbooked and overloaded with players! We had a 6 person group in front of us, a five some in front of them, a one person team behind us, and a group of five behind him! Not to menion three different groups of people came out of nowhere and just cut in front of the group in front of us! It took about 35 minutes or longer per hole!!! I called the clubhouse from the course and was told to make my call quick they had a line of people in front of them. R U Kidding me what terrible customer service! What a horrible experience!! There was absolutely no way to enjoy the game! We were being rushed at every hole with people on our A** and nowhere to go.. Many people were upset and there wasn't a single club employee on the course to help the situation!! What a waste of time & Money!!

My friend and I played the Fairways Of Canton on a rainy Saturday morning. The course was in really good shape and the greens were great, especially for the amount of rain they had to absorbed. They remained true, firm and rolled great. There is enough slope on most to shed the water without ponding. We were both pleased with the overall conditions and enjoyed the round. The staff was exceptionally friendly and responsive. We played in about 3 1/2 hours since there were only a few golfers brave enough to go out in the rain. I would recommend this course to anyone who would enjoy playing a course with lots of hilly terrain and beautiful views from the high places on the course.

GOOD CONDITION, I ENJOY COURSES WITH HILLS, THE ONLY PROBLEM AND IT IS A PROBLEM WITH LOTS OF CORSES AT THIS TIME OF THE YEAR IS BALLS BEING LOST IN FIRST CUT OF ROUGH, UNLESS YOU ARE ALMOST ON TOP OF THEM YOU CAN'T FIND THEM AND THEN GOOD LUCK HITTING THE BALL OUT OF THICK SOMEWAHT DEEP, BERMUDA GRASS. OVERALL COURSE IN GOOD CONDITION.

Great round of golf at a cool track. People are awesome there and the course is in great shape!

Very nice course. Greens were in fantastic shape and hole placements very challenging. Definitely not a course for a novice. If you have a tendency to hit left or right, you will want to bring as many balls as possible. Overall the course was beautiful and worth the money.

We played 3 1/2 hour pace the greens were in great shape and the course is tricky.

The course was fantastic! Conditions were a bit soggy from the past few weeks of rain but all in all the course played quite well. The staff was super friendly and helpful, as they were telling us how to avoid the major wet spots. I would recomend this course to anyone wanting a few very challenging holes as well as some seriously easy ones to build up that confidence.
