About
Red Bridge Golf & Country Club in Locust is routed through stands of mature trees that give the course a peacefully secluded feel. The layout wanders across gently rolling hills, providing a variety of elevation changes that range from subtle to dramatic. There is a stream that runs throughout the golf course, coming into play on a few holes. The course is seemingly long at 7,100 yards from the back tees but it's more forgiving than it appears, which means players of all skill levels can enjoy the golf course. The design relied heavily on the natural features of the landscape, allowing the course to blend seamlessly into the natural surroundings while also shaping natural hazards. There are also strategically placed bunkers throughout Red Bridge that complement rather than overtake the natural challenges.

I love this course. Great layout with three par 5’s on the front. Pace of play is always good and greens are incredible. Will not disappoint.

Another group let me tee off first because I was a single. Course is in great shape!
Great course
Played here many times...a little pricier than most but than again you want get these kind of conditions at many public type course. Great greens and fairways...some of the best around! Several of the tee boxes are warn, but I can live with that. Nothing much going on in the club house...need to head out to a local place if you want some good food and drink. You need to play this course as it will test you as you finish with a monster par five which is over 600 yards.
Top 5 Charlotte Metro
Growing up in the vicinity, I’ll try to hide my bias - this is one of the best public tracks in the charlotte area/metro. Greens are always on point, staff is moderately friendly, cart paths are nice. What stands this course apart from the many others is probably its feel. It’s a very closed in woodsy type feel, unlike many of courses in the area. This amounts to tough golf on the teebox, but I feel the trade off has real merit. Club house is nothing special, but another trade off, it’s obvious they spend the money on the course.
Course Review
This is by far the best course for the money. I've played more for less. This course has a variety of fun holes to play. Plus a 618yd par 5 to end it all. So much fun playing this course.
Hidden Gem
I absolutely love this course. It is well maintained and great scenery along the course. I've played this course a few times now, and have had a great round everytime.
Need another set of tee boxes
I wish they had a set of hybrid tee boxes. White at 6257 was too long and the gold at 5510 to short. The course was very dry the day we played, probably not the only in the area like that with weather.

Good Test
The course is in really good shape. Fairways good, greens excellent and fast. The layout is nice with a variety of holes from grip and RIP to placement golf. The slope rating at 130 for white tees is not easy and you better be able to putt. Staff friendly and course will definitely be on my replay list.

Excellent course
Played here for the first time and will definitely go back. Pretty fair course, some short par 3s and 4s and some long par 5s. Greens in excellent condition.
Nice course
Challenging layout, with lots of elevation changes. Tee boxes a little sketchy, but fairways were in good shape. Greens in excellent condition. Fun to play. Par 5 whites a little long for the +- 15 hc. I would recommend this course and would definitely play again.
First time playing
I booked our round on GolfNow and was very pleased with that experience. When we arrived at the course checking in was very smooth, quick and friendly. This was the first time my son and I play Red Bridge, we knew nothing about the layout of the course. We didn’t have any difficulty with following the direction from hole to hole but could have used pics on the score card or something to indicate water, landing spots and fairway traps. The course was generally in very good condition but the greens were excellent. We will play Red Bridge again soon.
