About
Red Bridge Golf & Country Club in Locust is routed through stands of mature trees that give the course a peacefully secluded feel. The layout wanders across gently rolling hills, providing a variety of elevation changes that range from subtle to dramatic. There is a stream that runs throughout the golf course, coming into play on a few holes. The course is seemingly long at 7,100 yards from the back tees but it's more forgiving than it appears, which means players of all skill levels can enjoy the golf course. The design relied heavily on the natural features of the landscape, allowing the course to blend seamlessly into the natural surroundings while also shaping natural hazards. There are also strategically placed bunkers throughout Red Bridge that complement rather than overtake the natural challenges.

Too legit to quit
Best course in the area for the money. Hands down!!!!
Wonderful layout that is challenging but fair.
One of the best courses within an hour of where I live ( and that includes Pinehurst area, CCSC, Eagles Chase, etc.). Always fun to play and in wonderful shape. Course has great greens, elevation changes, and great staff. Highly recommend this one.
Always nice

I love this track.
Still one of my favorite tracks. Even with the wet spring we have had course was in nice shape. The greens as always were wonderful!
Good value
Value good, staff good. Players in front of us were slow and played from the Tops. As amateur players they were really bad. Should have played form the white tee box since they were on the woods more then the ruff. 5 hour and 15 min round then had a gathering at the 18th green as we were trying to finish. Didnt enjoy slow play. I am only a 10 handicap so I am not a pro. Might not do that again. PS it was a Tuesday noon tee time !!!
Great Course Great Price
This was my first time playing this course. The staff was extremely friendly and the head pro even gave me a course layout booklet when I told him it was my first time playing. The greens are in unbelievable shape. The course appeared to drain very well given all the rain (cart path only). You really can’t beat this course for the money. Best public greens I’ve seen in Charlotte! The only negative would be the lack of a beverage cart. Other than that everything was great. I will be back at this course soon!
Fantastic greens, target golf, great staff
Redbridge is a great course for the value. The greens are fantastic they roll true. Even though our round was rained out, we got to enjoy 14 holes. The staff was great with regards to the rain out and refunded us for the holes we did not get to play. I will play again

Pleasantly surprised
Don’t be alarmed when you first pull up to the gravel parking lot and double wide pro shop. I was but then again I paid $21. Slow 5 hour round (no starter or ranger) but it happens and didn’t help to be paired with a beginner and a slow player. Anyway I’m rating the course. I personally love a course with no houses on it and there weren’t many on this one ! Just you and nature ! Wide fairways and not a lot of trouble if you keep it in play ! Grass in fairways was beat down so you got roll but a lil challenging to hit off of. I loved the greens as they rolled beautifully. I would definitely recommend this course especially for the price of $21.
Challenging course
I’ve played Red Bridge many times and always enjoy the course. Great layout, condition and friendly staff. One of my favorite courses in Charlotte with large greens.
Eat your Wheaties!
This course is a blast to play! I always enjoy coming to Red Bridge because it seems to always humble everyone who thinks their game is up to par. The elevation changes, length, and layout are always a fun challenge. And just when you think you’re winding down at the end of your round, the 600yrd par 5 #18 hole laughs at you. Greens are usually really fast so that is a fun challenge on its own. I always look forward to my next round there.

I consider this my home course I play it quite often it's always fun to play everyone that plays it that I have talked with speaks highly of it

Can’t wait for the COLOR green to finally make its way back to the city. I’m new here so everything turning brown is new to me but this course is great and the fees r VERY VERY affordable. My only NEGATIVE comment is the CPO ! Yes the weather isn’t there fault I just hate it. IOW nothing wrong w this place! ENJOY!!

Great course! Staff is super friendly. Was cart path only due to the rain . Course drained well, always a great golf!!!
One of the best public tracks around
Really tough to beat Red Bridge for the price. Layout is challenging and unique. Greens are always top 3 among public courses in the Greater Charlotte area and drains much better than courses like Emerald Lake. Staff is friendly. Pace of play can be an issue if you don't get out early. Highly recommended.
