About
Red Bridge Golf & Country Club in Locust is routed through stands of mature trees that give the course a peacefully secluded feel. The layout wanders across gently rolling hills, providing a variety of elevation changes that range from subtle to dramatic. There is a stream that runs throughout the golf course, coming into play on a few holes. The course is seemingly long at 7,100 yards from the back tees but it's more forgiving than it appears, which means players of all skill levels can enjoy the golf course. The design relied heavily on the natural features of the landscape, allowing the course to blend seamlessly into the natural surroundings while also shaping natural hazards. There are also strategically placed bunkers throughout Red Bridge that complement rather than overtake the natural challenges.

One of my favorites!
Laptop would not allow me to move sliders. Staff, especially head pro, are always friendly and helpful. Course is in really good condition right now. Always love going back. 10/01/2012
Great layout
Driving range is not convient to first tee and first tee is hard to find. Person in clubhouse (trailer) seem to just be there to take moey and hand you a key. Course required you to use every club in the bag as every hole was different in it's layout. Maintenance crews paid no attention to golfers. They continued to run noisy equiptment when you were playing and did not move to let you drive on the cart paths.
Course was in good shape and very golfer friendly
I played this course for the first time and would go back again. The course was maintained, and very playable no matter what your level of play is. The Greens rolled true and were in excellent shape. The staff were friendly and happy to assist whenever asked. The pace of play for a Holiday weekend was excellent. I would recoomend this course to my friends and go back again whenever possible.
Member Warning
I was paired up with three other players who spent a lot of time in the woods. Pace of play was slow due to this, but it DID NOT warrant the attitude of a few members. After some very strong words I won't repeat here, but in a nutshell, they told us to get the (you know what)off the course, I will not be back. After bringing this up with the club pro I was told our round took 5 hours and 9 minutes. WRONG. I was back in my car driving home at the 4 hour and 45 minute mark. True, the round was long, but after being treated like I was by a few of the members, don't care to go back, no matter how good the course is.
One of the best courses in the Charlotte area
This course is laid out beautifully and has lots of character. Mini verde bermuda greens putt great. Length is challenging, but fair. Staff is super nice and the course is always in excellent condition. I highly recommend this course!
