Designed by Arthur Hills, the Groves Golf Course may be a "short" course but it's still a challenge. It's one of three courses operated by Meadows Country Club. With a layout that sprawls across more than 50 acres, the par-63 layout feels more like a championship par-72 course. The layout is comprised of nine par 4s, eight par 3s, and one par 5. The course rewards accuracy and good shot placement, meaning it's not strength that matters but being able to strategize. The seventh hole is a memorable par 3 that appears simple enough thanks to a massive and seemingly inviting green, but the problem isn't hitting the green but getting your shot on the same level as the pin. There is a 5-foot slope that runs through the green, the severity of which is matched only by some of the greens at Augusta National.

Achilles heel - pace of play - not enforced and extremely slow.

Great executive course
Course is in relatively good shape and is fairly technical for such a small course. We’ll definitely be back for a quick round.

Greens are fixed and ready
Great short 18 for the price. .. Greens are fixed around the greens need help.. T boxes could use work... Course was fun to play and took 3 hours...
Refurbished
It was a nice to see GPS on the golf carts. The greens were in excellent shape. And the redesign of the course on the back nine 5 par was fun. overall experience was excellent we're going back again tomorrow.
Not on my list to replay.
The staff is outstanding and the greens were both interesting and in great condition. That is about all there is to recommend about the Groves. Fairways were terrible, tee boxes non-existent and our GPS watches did not function on the back 9. Possibly the course was modified and not re-calibrated..
Slow,slow,slow
Mostly very old golfers and women that tend to slow the pace of the game. There is no way this kind of foursome is going to get done in 8 minutes. We spent 10 minutes waiting on every hole. They need to separate tee times to every 12 minutes bc the place was jammed at every hole. Or have some rangers asking golfers to pick up after a double bogey.
Nice course but hard to find each holes there need better sings
First time at this course and it was ok , first when i got there they couldn’t find my tee time that i booked on golf now and was the staff (older gentleman at the front desk) was sure I didn’t and mabey thought i booked it at another course. But they still managed to get me out on my tee time, course was ok needs better landscaping but would play again. For all 18 holes I didn’t see the car girl and really needed a drink, i went back after the 9th hole to ask if she can come give me a drink and she still didn’t come was disappointed! So overall the course is ok but they need better signs to direct to each hole and they need more cart girls
Super Staff.
Had a terrific day. Course was fun and friendly. Greens were a little slow. honestly the Staff were great. Would definetaly recommend.
Perfect day in January
Since we last played there, all the greens are new—and very nice! There is a new par 5 hole on #9. Very nice. And the had a sale in the pro shop—bought a cool Greg Norman golf shirt! We’ll be back! TA
This course is in much better shape than last year and it was not crowded and the greens were very nice and the staff was very nice
Not that easy
Approximately a 3 1/2 hour round, Many of the holes are very tight and your shots need to be really good to stay out of trouble. Tee boxes are in tough shape but the greens are nice. A fun course.

Renovation of groves
Thoroughly enjoyed playing on the new greens. Added bonus was the new par 5 on the 9th hole. Will return.
