The Palms Golf Club At Forest Lakes

Had another great time golfing this morning at The Palms. Course conditions continue to improve. A great experience!

I’ve been playing this course for years I like the course I like the price I like the size of it the problem has always been no matter when you make a teatime there is no starter so you can have a 10 o’clock teatime and get to the first tee box at 10 o’clock but there are two other groups already waiting to go out They just let them go whenever they want rather than saying tee off 10 minutes from now another problem is some of the groups will have five or six people summon carts and some walkers if you get behind them it’s gonna take you all day I am usually in a twosome and we play fairly fast I love the staff there I just wish rather than saying go ahead and go out to everybody they would honor the tee times and if somebody shows up for a 1020 when I am there at 10 they tell them you’re gonna have to wait 20 minutes or tell me to wait if I am 10 minutes early no problem

Pace of play was very good today. Greens continue to improve. Staff friendly and professional.

Course is challenging. Staff are friendly and accommodating. Pace of play was good. Grounds staff clearly working hard to improve all aspects of the course. Will definitely play again

I play here 1-2 times a week. It is a challenging course for an average golfer. Green’s continue to improve. Staff are very nice. Good course at a reasonable price.

The Palms has continuosly improved through the summer and gets better week by week. The greens are medium fast and rolling true. It's fun hitting off fairways with lush mowed grass. If you haven't played it recently, you owe it to yourelf to give try now.

Great management and pricing make this fun local course a frequent choice. While not one of the tour stops, The Palms at Forest Lakes here in Sarasota has variety and challenge and a proper clubhouse atmosphere to put a smile on any golfer.

The course continues to improve. Despite a pump failure earlier in the year, the staff have been diligent in their attempt to turn things around. Sven openly communicates about the plans moving forward and goals of the course. Always a pleasant experience.

The Palms Golf Course is what my husband and I call city golf. You have to cross a busy road between the front and back nine and listen to sirens and traffic here and there on the course. Other than that, this course is in fair shape for an inexpensive round of golf. The general manager was friendly and extra helpful in preparing us for the course. We made it through 11 holes in the heat when the storms came in and we felt we had gotten our money's worth. I was on the fence about whether I would recommend it to a friend. It is better than Village Green Golf Club down the street but still a little rough. If you get a good rate, try it out.

The staff is always friendly and accommodating. There have been big improvements to green conditions since the spring as well as the rest of the course. Complete turnaround. You can not find a better deal and it's in the middle of town basically. Hidden gem

Greens are coming back nicely since the course's water pump went down over the summer. Staff has done a tremendous job

Fun course, - 1st 9 holes like any other course - back 9 with lots of par 3s like an Executive course. Good layout and very friendly staff.

This is a good little course that has had some growing pains this summer due to some sprinkler issues. That being said, it has recovered well and gets better every single day. The fairways are narrow which makes it challenging and fun. It’s a walkable course with a great layout. The very active women’s league is so welcoming to all players and has really grown in numbers over the past year. It’s a course you’ll want to try!

I love playing this course. It is very tricky to play.. The greens are improving from the summer and can’t wait for fall. Sven is such a nice guy, very professional and really tries to accommodate all golfers!

The Palms is a very beginner friendly course, though it also possess very challenging and accurate shots for the pros. Walk it, ride it, just plain fun. Sven and the staff have great costumer service!

Staff is very friendly. Course is improving with every passing week. Great women’s league. Very accommodating and would highly recommend for an enjoyable round of golf.
