The Palms Golf Club At Forest Lakes

Did not care for the course. I knew it was short on the back, but did not expect the course to be so bare of grass in the fairways.

We booked this course last minute as we were travelling through the area. Staff were friendly and the pace of play was very good considering that the course was entirely full. The course provided a great opportunity for us to work on our short game after several months off as we reside in the snow laden North!

Front nine was a good challenge, price was very reasonable.

As a par 64 it’s a great course if you want to get around in about three hours. It requires accuracy and provides a good challenge. Course is in good condition and greens are great. Staff are fantastic and food is good making it a fun and enjoyable experience.

My husband and I had a great time playing this course. The course was challenging enough for him who is a seasoned golfer but not frustrating for me a beginner golfer. The course was in good shape. There was a lot of run to the ball on the fairways. The greens were very interesting to read - number 9 is especially challenging if one has a downhill putt!! We are already planning our next visit to this course. Also, can’t beat the price!!

We got what we expected. Greens were awesome and fairways nice grass but hard.

There has not been rain for some time and he course is stressed.

But, still not to the point where you are not having fun.

Just an extra 50 yards of roll.

Played with wife and we had a blast.

There are a few holes you should use driver otherwise put it away and force yourself to use more clubs in your bag.

Good deal on the course but not worth it. There was a tournament going on, the starter and general manager were playing in the tournament so when we went to check in the bartender was running the clubhouse. She had no clue what she was doing. Teed off on the first hole only to find out there were 4 golf carts ahead of us with 7 people playing on one hole. We had to skip hole 2 to get to hole 3 and bypass them. If you’re looking looking for a cheap round of golf on a so so Course this is it. Would suggest paying the extra money for a nicer course. Mind you golfnow also made the mistake of booking us during a tournament so maybe it would be different if the GM or starter were in the pro shop running things.

Tee markers can barely be seen. They need to be elevated and painted. The greens are pretty good but the tee boxes are horrible

I've played over a dozen rounds at The Palms this year and it does not disappoint. I love the 2 and a half hour rounds with friends and the course conditions are excellent for the price. Greens are a bit fast at times but not too challenging even for an amateur like me. Mix of mostly par 3's and 4's with a decent par 5 as well. Excellent place for a fun round. Staff is very accommodating and friendly. Highly recommend!

I highly recommend this course. It is a perfect size course for the average golfer. I had the best round of golf I've had in years!

With allmost 5 inc. rain the day before there was offcause a lot of water all over the course. But still the greens was excellent.

Greens were great. Fairways well kept. Short course not for the big hitters although hole 2 is a 200 yd clearance over water off the back tees. Only one par 5 about 6 par 4s the rest 3s. This is a course for accuracy. The buggy was well equipped with sat nag and lunch was included. My wife played 11 under her handicap her best round ever I played 3 under mine.
