Woods Valley
Found to be very challenging would have liked to known that the greens were punched and they didn't vacuum up the punch mark difficult to play still had fun had Little bit of rain told us to cart path only i play with my dad he was 75 that Was not cool
Enjoyable Day, always
Course offers challenge, scenery, good greens and tee boxes. Fairways are spotty this time of year, and could use more water, but that seems to be par for all courses today. Staff is very helpful, each of the three times i have played here. Worth the trip.
Woods Valley review
We had a great time at woods valley! Not many out on the course for a Saturday. It was pretty challenging, due to not many markings on the tee boxes.
Woods Valley
Checked in and was warmly greeted in the proshop. Produced my UNDERPAR certificate, which was accepted and verified and was told that getting in another 18 after our first round was completed would not be a problem. Course was in great shape, rate of play was good even though we were a threesome and had a fivesome ahead of us, still managed to finish in just over 4 hours.
Great Course
Great Course, gives you some wide fairways and some narrow fairways, long par 4's and short par 4's..Par 3's are all very reasonable from white and red tees....Best I can say about this very good course is the designer built a very non-cookie cutter course which is a breath of fresh air...seems this area has several very nice courses that are not the same old thing as I play in my regular area..
Very Average
Anything over 5hrs is too slow for me. Never saw a Marshall, so slow play continued from hole 2-18. Only visited once by "drink cart", on 3rd hole. Long way to drive for a very average, overpriced experience.
Felt like I was in Palm Springs
This was just a awesome course to play. The layout is something you see on the PGA. Can't wait til play it again, and again.
Loved it!
Great course and getting better. Love the back nine... Terrific staff!
fun course
woods valley has a fun course, the back 9 are a bit of a challenge of fun.
Excellent Course
Course was in great condition. Fairways was nice and green. Greens are medium speed and not too slow. Tee boxes were also in good shape. I would've rated this course higher f the construction noises weren't occurring during my round. The pro shop guy was also friendly and nice - I had to skip a couple of holes in the back nine and he allowed me to re-play the first few holes on the front nine.
Computer Issues
Booked the reservation via golfnow the same day we wanted to play. When I went to pay, the attendant said their computer did not speak with Golfnow and asked how much Golfnow said was due at the course. I said it was around $109.00 for three of us. He responded the $39.00 rate. I agreed. When I looked at the credit card charges on my receipt it said $117.00. I asked the attendant why was there a $117.00 charge. He could not answer and offered range balls to make up the difference. I told him we did not want range balls. He finally ended up refund the different. Make sure you check your receipt when you pay at this course.
A great layout located in a beautiful valley!
This place is a hidden gem. Some unique holes, with 9 and 18 being wonderful finishing par 5 holes. Greens were excellent, fairways were in good shape and great people to take care of you. Can't wait to go back again.
Great Place
This is a very great place to play. Here is what I really like about this course. Grass driving range. Carts have ice chest with ice in them. That's a bonus in my book any day. Good prices on tee times. I have played more times than the course that's right next to my house. The beverage truck was driving around as late as 3pm. That's what golfers want and this place doesn't disappoint.
Real interesting course
Very impressed from time we checked in-courteous pro shop staff and friendly and helpful starter. Course in good winter condition, nice sand.
Some tight fairways and a good challenge. Lot of fun, will sure come back
Continues to improve
I play here a couple of times a year. New owners are working on improving the course. Conditions today were very good for winter drought conditions. Fun course with the two nines being so different. Make sure you've got a few extra balls in youreturn bag as you start the back side.
Woods Valley
Played the Blues (6315/70.5/127) with RGM2525 as a 2some in 3.5 hours using Underpar. The weather was chilly when we teed off but had warmed up to 60ish by the time we finished, partly cloudy with little wind. We followed 2 regulars who walked and rarely waited a shot the entire round.
The tees were fairly level with good grass. However, many were fairly torn up and needed divot repair.
The fairways were winter thin with adequate coverage with relatively few unfixed divots.
The rough was also winter thin and not overly penal except for sporadic areas of lost ball rough.
The sand was generally good, well maintained with nice sand.
The greens were inconsistent. Most were medium fast and fairly smooth. A couple were medium slow and downright bumpy. They held well struck approach shots well but you could also bump n run balls onto them, which I liked.
Fun course in decent winter condition. I liked the layout, numerous fun holes plus several demanding ones. The customer service was excellent, especially Gary in the Pro Shop. No drink cart out today, but there are adequate water stations on the course. Recommended = Yes, I would play here often if I lived closeby.

Played the Blues (6315/70.5/127) with Ron, Ernie and Craig in 3.5 hours using Underpar. The weather was 60ish and partly cloudy with little wind. Played the front 9 as a 2some and joined up with another 2some for the back 9.
The tees had good grass and no issues with level lies. However, numerous were fairly torn up and needed divot repair.

The sand traps were generally good, well maintained with nice sand.
The greens mostly medium fast and fairly smooth. However, a couple were medium slow, downright bumpy and had maintenance staff resodding bad areas. They held well struck approach shots well and were firm.

Good course
The course was in good condition. The greens were fast and fair. The staff was great. We will definitely play there again.
wood valley
Course was in good shape pin holes in greens pace was good bunkers so so
A very nice day.
A very nice day at the course in November. Conditions were pretty good considering the time of year.
Lol^^
I'm confused. If you agreed to a $39 rate per person for 3, that is $117 total.
