Lake Tahoe Golf Course

Beautiful setting.greens are in very poor condition.i have not seen it like this in years. Slow play.

Challenging, but interesting. Course is in very good shape.

6:34am tee times Wed, Thurs, and Fri while staying in Lake Tahoe. Golfed front 9 on Wed, back 9 on Thurs and Fri. Quiet in the morning, beat the rush. Busy as I was finishing up about 8:30am. $39 w/cart not a bad deal for 9 in Lake Tahoe area. $7/small bucket of range balls a bit steep though. Only did that the first day. Greens just ok. Lots of ball marks not repaired. NOTE: Ball travels 16% longer in the air due to elevation. Affects club selection for sure.

Pace of play was ridiculously slow. Waited every shot on every hole. Tee times should be spread out more or rangers need to move hackers along.

Great course all around. The greens were in incredible shape if you get out on this course prior to 8 o'clock the whole course is yours

The course is extremely well run. Both sides had marshalls that were very friendly but keep play moving smoothly, very helped looking for balls. Well the Tahoe location is great the addition of a well maintained course and outside management team sure ended up with a 1 + 1 = 3 for me.

Course was in great shape, the only draw back was drenching rain with a lot of standing water.

didnt love it, but didnt hate it. the location and appearance made me really want to play here. but after getting out there and playing, i really wasnt impressed. thanks to golfnow.com i only paid $42.50. any more than that and i would have been really upset. i shot a easy 88 after losing 3 balls on stupid shots. so its a course you can score well on. greens are a bit rough and the fairways are full of holes and bumps. makes it rough on your back if youre in a cart. layout is uneventful. no elevation changes, wide open fairways...etc. so, if you're looking for an amazing tahoe golf experience, this is probably not the place. if youre looking for nice scenery and an ok time out, have at it. it all yours!!!!

I've played this course many times and always injoyed it. Flat layout with nice greens, just a bit slow but the snow did just melt. The staff in the club house and on the course were all great.It would be nice to call a food order in on 9 just to speed things up, but other than that had a great time and whopped my son by 9 strokes.

This is a lovely golf course, with a beautiful setting. We followed a large tournament, so it was slower than normal. Great value for the price. The course was interesting, in good shape and not too difficult.

To be fair, I have played this course from the tips as well as the foward tees. (not family tee). I feel that it is a great test for the average and above player. Some beginners may feel overwhelmed by the shots required over water. The low handicapper may find it to be easy as long as all shots are directed accuratley, and there is some prior knowledge of the greens. Green speed not overly slow but not fast either.
Overall, I rate this track a big thumbs up. The down side is that they open late in the season and close early so get up there while the weather is nice!

The course is in decent shape for a public course. May not be worth the rack rate of $87.00 but is a good value at $45 - $60. Staff is friendly. Has a driving range and a putting green. Good location from South Lake Tahoe. Nice mountain views. We have played there 2-3 times per year when we visit South Lake Tahoe. Best choice if you don't want to spend a lot of money and don't want to drive 45 minutes or more. Pace of play is slower than I would like but typical of public courses.

Course is in very good condtion, but very flat and not exceptionally challenging. I was expecting a mountain course with many elevation changes and uneven lies, but this course has none of that. We got a great deal through Groupon, but I would not play this course again if I had to pay full price.
