Lake Tahoe Golf Course

Course is playing great, make sure you grab sand and seed mix to repair your divots. Holes 1,2 and 5 are using a modified green, as they are remodeling those 3 greens. You still have 15 more holes to putt on. Good beers to choose from and a nice food menu. Course takes 3h 45m during the week. Carts are clean, driving range open with a practice putting green and chipping bunker practice area. Lots of parking.

First week open after winter. Course was in decent shape but the greens are about 3-4 weeks away from being decent (probably somewhere around a 6-7 on the stump right now and recovering from being aerated). 3 greens (1,2, and 5) are under repair likely not playable until mid June. The temporary greens are not playable unless they mow lower and roll otherwise it's just slightly shorter than the fairway. Please note that apparently children under 11 are not allowed on the course as this was told to myself as I was departing having played all 18 with my 4 month old. So call ahead to confirm.

The course is in horrible condition right now. Some of it might be because it is recovering from the winter. But the front nine has 4 make-shift greens out of a sections of the fairway. The other greens are just not in good condition. Several tee boxes were just dirt. Several fairways were roped of due to very soggy conditions and even some that weren’t roped off we pretty soggy. All of this might be understandable if the price was severely reduced to reflect course conditions. But they weren’t, and there were no warnings prior to booking or paying that the course is in bad shape. I would definitely give it a month before considering playing here and ask about course conditions before booking.

had a 1:10 tee time. Did not tee off until 2:10 The course had a high school tournament going on this day, and there was no mention of this when booking the date. We were an hour late of our tree time. The kids were walking the course so that delayed play time. When we did finally tee of there was 3 groups in front of us, and one of them had 5 people In there group. Every course I’ve ever played had a maximum of 4 per group. So again this delayed play time. I s[poke with Golf Now representative who spoke with the front desk and was told I would be compt a round of golf for the inconvenience. When I went in to claim this I was told they had no idea what I was talking about and that Golf Now has no say in there course. Guy was kind of a jerk about it. The course had just opened for the season so understandable that the feeens were not in prime condition seeing how we are in Tahoe and fresh off the winters season, but bargain with no mention that several holes were completely ripped up and being renovated. I was extremely frustrated and disappointed with the course and the staffs attitude toward my complaints.

Greens are still recovering from winter. Three temporary greens as regular greens are being replaced. My first time playing here, will come later in the summer for the full experience. I loved the layout and the views are unparalleled.

Staff was very friendly and the rental clubs were Calloway rouges and great condition.

So first time back in about 10 years. Course is in great shape. Fairways, bunkers and greens well maintained. Also, this course has a great variety of challenging holes. Course was packed and a little slow. No gps or usb port in cart. No beverage cart service on course. Did have lunch in their grille and the albacore sandwich was excellent.

It was a gorgeous day out there today, but so insanely slow. Not sure what they can do about it but this is the only reason I rarely play here as a local. Left after 9 holes today, luckily I got a great deal from the app so it wasn’t a total loss.

Played three times in one week. Could not complete a full round any of those times. The pace of play was poorly managed, in my opinion. I did see the marshal driving through a couple of times but I don’t know if anyone was spoken too.

My first round started 60 minutes late due to slow play and no carts available. Apparently there were bachelor party’s playing that day. That should not be allowed to interfere with everyone else’s rounds.

The day of my last round I saw 8 carts lined up waiting to tee off towards the 13th hole and I also noticed there was a group of 6 playing together slowing play tremendously.

I hope this can be addressed better in the future.

Average course - some tee boxes need help.

More expensive than a couple years ago, but busy. ("Members" get a big discount.)

Love the Husqvana automatic mowers! Very cute!

Beautiful scenery and well maintained, if you like this style of course, you'll love it. I found the course itself is kind of boring: very little elevation change, open and flat except for a couple of holes, not very challenging. Just not my cup of tea.

I enjoyed my day at the course even though it took over 5 hours to play. The layout of the course is nice and the fairways are maintained fairly well. A number of silver tee boxes were in bad condition.

I've played this course during the summer over the last few years and again this year, as it's the best option in SLT if you're not up to paying the $$$ for Edgewood.

It's set in a meadow with a creek running through it and mountains surrounding, which is beautiful. So it's flat but has an interesting layout with a few forced carries and several dog legs.

The fairways are in great shape and the greens are fairly flat and only in so-so condition (lots of unrepaired ball marks).

The bunkers are terrible. They have some kind of very coarse sand with lots of little rocks, and that cruft is thinly spread over dirt. Surprisingly bad in comparison to the rest of the course.

Also they've raised the prices in the last year so it's not quite the bargain it used to be.
