The Chimneys Golf Course features 18 holes of exceptional golf. Our signature feature is the abundance of native rock found on-site, intricately hand-laid throughout the course to accent our greens, fairways, and pedestal tees. With strict attention to detail and no homes in sight, the course plays as a par 72, just shy of 6500 yards over five sets of tees to accommodate golfers of all abilities. Combined with southern, hometown charm, The Chimneys is an experience unlike any public course in north Georgia.

Course kept very well, fairways and greens are near perfect condition. Very busy though, too many younger players in a rush to get through playing, kids these days, am I right? All in all just a good place to play golf.

Selected this course based on upon past visitors' reviews. Course layout is decent. Back 9 is fun 3 consecutive drivable par 4s in a row!!!! Nice views from elevations for a Texas golfer. Would go back, and would recommend. I don't get out to play as much as I used to, but totally enjoyed it.

No notice of top-dressed greens

Driving 40 miles to play a course doesn't bother me... except when I get o the first green and discover that the greens have been top-dressed with sand and no one said a word about it - when making the tee time by phone or when checking in. We paid full price and got less than full value. This is a nice course - not overly challenging with the second nine being the easier of the two by far, but these type of business practices make me question whether I will return.

Easy course to shot some great scores

Staff is unfriendly. Mowing crew inconsiderate. Greens recently top dressed and nobody said anything and prices were the same.
