About
The Chimneys Golf Course features 18 holes of exceptional golf. Our signature feature is the abundance of native rock found on-site, intricately hand-laid throughout the course to accent our greens, fairways, and pedestal tees. With strict attention to detail and no homes in sight, the course plays as a par 72, just shy of 6500 yards over five sets of tees to accommodate golfers of all abilities. Combined with southern, hometown charm, The Chimneys is an experience unlike any public course in north Georgia.

Very fun very playable
Hilly terrain, but hardly any blind shots. Room to miss a fairway and still find your ball. Good mix of hitting uphill and downhill into greens. All the par fours felt short, not complaining! You can hit driver on most of them, but never really NEED to. Greens have a lot of break, but not overkill at all. Just got sanded and punched but still rolled halfway decent. I will definitely be back later this spring.

This course is fun to play, perfect for middle handicap player. i am really enjoy it.

Best layout golf course
Except 2-3 holes, all holes are not much hills.

I hate to write this review...
I’d rather this course stay somewhat hidden from the masses, but what a wonderful course. I’m not sure how many courses I’ve played in my lifetime, but this course ranks up there with the best of them. The little details on each and every hole make each one memorable. As a southern boy growing up in middle Georgia, I appreciated the old chimneys located around the course that brought back memories of my rural upbringing. The conditions of the course could not have been better for this time of year. The greens were in excellent shape and rolled perfectly. Pace was very good as I spent little time waiting. There are signs encouraging quick pace which I appreciate as I’ve played way to many 5 hour rounds lately.
I wish I live a little closer so that I could take advantage of becoming a member so that I could play more often. Even then, I’m still on the fence come spring time, I may go for it.
My only grip was that I wish that I had a sand canister to fill in some of my divots. They may have been available, but there wasn’t one on my cart.
1/21/2021 Chimneys
First time playing this course, found a hot deal tee time, and I loved the layout. The course really isn't super long, but it will challenge your skill to use your long irons. It was cold and wet but the course held up great! Can't wait to try it out again on a sunnier day.
Fun course
I love this course! Always a great time. I just wish the other golfers would fix their ball marks on the greens. I must have fixed a dozen today makes me mad that people just ignore them. You made them fix them !
Chimneys course in good condition.
Enjoyed a day of golf with my son at the Chimneys. There are a couple of drivable par 4s on the back nine which add a little fun.
