About
The Chimneys Golf Course features 18 holes of exceptional golf. Our signature feature is the abundance of native rock found on-site, intricately hand-laid throughout the course to accent our greens, fairways, and pedestal tees. With strict attention to detail and no homes in sight, the course plays as a par 72, just shy of 6500 yards over five sets of tees to accommodate golfers of all abilities. Combined with southern, hometown charm, The Chimneys is an experience unlike any public course in north Georgia.

Course was very busy due too Easter weekend, course was in very good shape.
Had a great experience all around
Greens rolled nicely, great course condition, had a great time at Chimneys
Excellent Course
Chris, Michael, Gary, and all the staff do a great job! This is one of the best courses in the area and likely the best city owned course in the entire south east (kudos to Winder!!).
If you are a long ball hitter, just back up to the gold tees and I am sure you will be challenged. I play the whites and it is plenty challenging and really fun to play. Very well kept course and in great shape to start the season.
I just wish players would help the grounds staff out and fix their marks on the greens!

Great course aeration on greens with sand
Everything was great as usual at the chimneys a great course, only thing is greens aerated and sanded a week and a half ago am still don’t roll to great

Really enjoyed it. Played with my two son’s and one of their friends. Other than having to pay for it all, it was perfect
Amazing Course for the Money
I love this course! It’s beautifully landscaped and maintained. You can’t beat the quality this course offers for the price.
One of my favs!
This course is always in great condition. It has a good mix of holes. Long and short par 3’s. Long par 4’s and couple of short ones that are possibly reachable off the tee. All the par 5’s are not easy to reach in two. I’ve only reached one of them in two and I’ve played here several times. The staff is friendly. Not many amenities as far as a bar or sit down eating area but what’s there is nice. I always look forward to getting back here. Definitely one to check out if you’re in the area!
Chimneys is a fun track
The course is in good condition. For a busy Sunday afternoon the pace of play was very good with no delays.
Hidden Gem
One of my favorite golf courses. So glad I found this golf course.
Crowded with a good pace of play
I've played this course several times, and this is the first time I've seen the parking lot over flow, and cars needed to park in the grass near the ball fields. The pace was not bad at all, we finished our round in 4 hours and 15 minutes on a Sunday mid afternoon. The 4 of us thought we were in for at least a 5 hour round.
