About
The Chimneys Golf Course features 18 holes of exceptional golf. Our signature feature is the abundance of native rock found on-site, intricately hand-laid throughout the course to accent our greens, fairways, and pedestal tees. With strict attention to detail and no homes in sight, the course plays as a par 72, just shy of 6500 yards over five sets of tees to accommodate golfers of all abilities. Combined with southern, hometown charm, The Chimneys is an experience unlike any public course in north Georgia.

Beautiful, Fun
The course in great condition, and real nice. This was my first time playing the and shot an 86. I had a great time
Slow play
Stuck behind 4 slow groups took 1:15 to play thru 4 holes. Left on hole 5 - very disappointed. The course marshall must have been off today.
Great value
Kudo’s to the staff at chimneys. The course is always in very good condition. Played from the Tips and it was like an entirely different course on many holes. Will be in my regular rotation of courses for sure.
Perfect day...perfect course
Just no complaints here...the course was in excellent shape. From tee box to green....just a very enjoyable round today
This is one of the best courses around!
This course is fantastic in just about every single way. The design is fun, the grass is very well taken care of, the greens roll true, and the tee boxes are in good shape. The staff is also very friendly, which is nice. I would recommend any golfer to play here, and I make it a point to play here at least once a week! Keep up the great work, Chimney’s.
Enjoyable course
Driver will get you in trouble on the front 9, so keep it in the fairway. The back 9 has some fun holes that you can go at with driver. The hills make the course more challenging and the scenery is outstanding. The greens were fast and fairways were in great shape. Definitely a course to come back to play when I’m in town.
Greens are better than normal
Tees, fairways and greens were all in excellent shape. Love this course. My only issues are they don’t serve hot food. No burgers, sandwiches or hotdogs. My other complaint is that the course was way too wet. It has not rained recently. No need for that much water.
Great course!
Second time playing here. It’s a bit of a drive for me, but it’s worth it. I really enjoy playing this course. Besides a few bunkers that need some sand, the conditions were fantastic! The greens roll true, the fairways and second cut were in great shape, and it offers a decent challenge for all skill levels without being overly complicated. A great value and course layout. I will be back for sure.
Very Nice
I truly enjoyed this golf course... The layout was very nice... Loved the rocks that help the landscape of the course as well... I live in Michigan and would rate this course up north with as a must play golf course...

Unfortunately, The Chimneys eliminated the course Marshall and Starter positions. You basically have to wait until you pass the clubhouse to complain.
