About
The Chimneys Golf Course features 18 holes of exceptional golf. Our signature feature is the abundance of native rock found on-site, intricately hand-laid throughout the course to accent our greens, fairways, and pedestal tees. With strict attention to detail and no homes in sight, the course plays as a par 72, just shy of 6500 yards over five sets of tees to accommodate golfers of all abilities. Combined with southern, hometown charm, The Chimneys is an experience unlike any public course in north Georgia.

This golf course is in fantastic shape
The chimneys is always a pleasant place to play… At this time the greens and the fairways are in fantastic shape and it is very enjoyable to play!
Perfect
If your looking for a course that is as nice as a PGA championship. This is it! The fairways were great as well as the greens. The rough was well just as good as the fairways but it is the rough so don’t play from over there. I will be back to play again soon. Highly recommend playing here.
Such a GREAT course!
I live 10 minutes from the course. I love to play a LOT of "different" courses (variety)....THIS is one of the MOST UNDERRATED courses in the area (and daresay, the state)....

Bit of a drive, but well worth it. Friendly staff, excellent greens, and pace of play was great. Will definitely be back!
Great Value
The course is well maintained and lays out nicely. Not terribly difficult but also not the easiest course, it feels pretty fair. I like it more and more. They do need to figure out how to get hydration stations out on the course with the new normal.

Great Golf Course, Excellent Staff
Course was in great condition. Fairways and greens were maintained well. Layout is straightforward save for a few blind shots. Holes were played with raised cups but as long as you read it right, you'll be good. Best part of the experience was the customer service. They made you feel welcome and at home --- probably best customer service I experienced in the last 6 months. Would definitely come back and highly recommended!

Course is nice and green. Overall course is in excellent shape. Pacing of players maintains a good flow through out the round.
Pace of plays greatly improves with one player per cart.

This was my first time to The Chimneys, but it won't be my last. The staff was friendly and the course was in good and getting better with each sunny day condition. The front nine is more challenging than the back, but is no slouch by any means. The greens were much larger than expected and pristine - they rolled true and had good, but not crazy, pace to them! Bunkers were full of sand and consistent to play from, if required. The course is not long, but requires a broad range of shot making. The practice area with grass tees is more for warm-up than practice in my opinion. They do have a nice looking practice green which was closed due to a treatment being applied this morning. The weather was excellent and it was a really enjoyable round of golf.

Just moved and one of my favorites
I just moved from SC to GA and this course provides everything I am looking for. The course is very well maintained and I have enjoyed the layout.
Will be on my go to list just wished I lived closer to maybe join as a member.
