About
The Chimneys Golf Course features 18 holes of exceptional golf. Our signature feature is the abundance of native rock found on-site, intricately hand-laid throughout the course to accent our greens, fairways, and pedestal tees. With strict attention to detail and no homes in sight, the course plays as a par 72, just shy of 6500 yards over five sets of tees to accommodate golfers of all abilities. Combined with southern, hometown charm, The Chimneys is an experience unlike any public course in north Georgia.

Poor Staff
The staff is extremely rude. Treat you terribly, all about the money for them and they are very demeaning. The head pro is nice but the staff are just straight up rude. No way around it, ruined the entire experience. Great course but awful staff. 3rd time golfing here and the staff was never nice.

Nice course for the price
I really enjoyed this course. It's not a long course (around 6500 yards) but it is a fun course. Played with 2 friends and had a great day. I would recommend it to anyone.
Great golf course
I played Golf at Chimneysany time and i enjoyed very much. For the price with Excellent course condition. Nothing went wrong playing there
Winder's Hidden Secret
I've played bunch of courses in the area, and Chimney's is by far my favorite. I love everything about this course. The staff is super friendly. Pace is great. Greens are in great shape. Not a super long course, but I'm not a super long hitter. Challenging and fun. The layout is great. I'll be back over and over. Great value for the money.

Great 18 holes! Would highly recommend to anyone that can make the drive! A combination of long fairways and tricky green, this course will chalange you!

Horrible greens

Great value for a great price.
While the course was very wet it was cart path only. The fairway grass is dorment the bent grass greens were smooth and fairly fast, the greens were cut in the morning making this a very comfortable round with guests from New York. My guests and myself appreciate the course lay-out and the many tees to fit our games. A grest value for the money.

Fun course the faraway s had just been aerated so didn't good rolls off drive s but was still a good round will play there again
Great beginner course.
I played this course with two brand new golfers, and they both enjoyed it. Being a high-handicap beginner myself, I did not find this course to be very difficult. The fairways are pretty wide open and the roughs aren't hard to play. There is almost no OB, and the woods aren't very dense, so finding errant drives is easy. The two first-time golfers barely lose any balls. The greens here were in great condition. Fairly flat and not too fast, perfect for less than confident putters.

Very picturesque
Green rolled fast and true. Very scenic front nine. Fairways played true even though grass was dormant. Would have expected more roll. Perfect January day to play and enjoy golf.
CHIMNEY'S ALWAYS GREAT
THIS COURSE IS ALWAYS IN GREAT SHAPE. IT WAS CART PATH ONLY BUT STILL VERY PLAYABLE.
Nice course
I keep coming back to it. Tee boxes can use little leveling but everything else is up to my expectations.
First time!
I had heard good things about this course so finally went to see for myself. Turns out everything I heard was true. I have COPD and was a little fearful about the beautiful hills I heard the course was built on. But with the flag I was able to minimize the impact and take the grade out of any walking I was required to do. The snack bar at least had a choice over just a hotdog with brats, hamburgers or sausage. condiments were fresh and appealing. Beer is COLD and reasonable price!
I enjoyed the course very much. I played from the whites and found I needed my better game on some of the longer par 4's and certainly in order to take advantage of the 5's. If i had brought my better game with me my scorecard would have looked better.
With the beautiful weather for December 27, I expected a crowd. It was not packed, but there was a very slow foursome in front of my twosome. I started out as a single and paired up with a very pleasant guy to enjoy the round with. It got so slow at the last two holes we let another twosome join us to finish.
I am giving strong consideration to membership here.

Greens were nice. Tee boxes haven't been mowed in more than a month although grass is dormant. They're pretty hairy. Everything else is in good shape, fairways, bunkers, greens...
