Mirror Lake Golf Club - Lake Course

Course conditions were awesome. Greens were fast but true. Pace of play got a little slow on the front but picked up on the back 9. Only complaints were not enough water coolers on the course and some very hard tee boxes.

Good memories

First time playing either course and enjoyed the layout. Greens were a little shaggy and got backed up several times as a twosome but still finished in a reasonable amount of time.

I showed up yesterday to play. I was charged today for not showing up to play. They put a solo out on the course in between 2 groups of 4. Normally I could be let through but the front 4 group could care less. After the turn, the back 4 group asked if I just wanted to play with them. They were playing a 2 man scramble. Naturally, I accepted. As playing solo sometimes its more fun to play with a group and it did make pace of play faster. (By 30 mins to exact)

Here's where things gets twisted. Some smart person calls the Marshall and says there's 5 playing together. Mind you, we were ahead of pace by 15 mins at this time. So we get approached, hes super nice and we tell him and he says just keep on playing. 3 more holes go by and the head pro comes out and gives this dude I was playing with, crap about pace of play and we've never let 5 play together ever. This was on 18. Par 5. Of lake course.

Do better mirror lake. I would like my $100 returned.

Front 9 moved fast but then we hit the back and it took over 3 hours! 5 hours teeing off before 8am is ridiculous with only 2 players!

Actually played the mountain course on this day but I have played the lake course before, the facility is nice , good value for the price. Pace of play was also good, would recommend.

Finally open to non-members, this course stands out from the carts to the greens. Very clean and maintained. Worth every dollar when other courses want the same or more for less of an experience.

Played here for first time and found the course layout good, but all the cart paths are damaged, chipped and broken which is very frustrating. The Greens were in great shape and rolling well. It was about 50 miles each way to get there but based on the current conditions, I will NOT be going back... There were also no Marshalls or Cart Girl/Beverage services. Considering its a Cannon Gate course, its NOT worth it and I will NOT be going back anytime soon. So many better courses around Atlanta for similar price

Great course, beautiful holes, especially around the lakes. WILL DEFINITELY RETURN.

Also want to play the companion Chapel Hills Mountain course.
