About
Nestled in the foothills of the Appalachians, Chicopee Woods Golf Course is a 27-hole course that sprawls across rolling terrain. It is one of the most popular public courses in the Gainesville area. The holes are divided into three nines called the Village, the School, and the Mill. They share the same scenic landscape but they each offer a different set of challenges. Five sets of tees provide the option of playing to your skill level. The Mill is the shortest of the three nines. Strategically placed bunkers come into play on almost every hole, you'll find plenty of them on the par-4 seventh. There are back-to-back water features starting with the second hole, the golf course's only water holes. Chicopee Woods GC also has a driving range and chipping and putting greens available.

Great experience
First time playing this course as I was in town visiting family, and it will now be on my agenda every trip…course was in great shape, staff was knowledgeable and friendly, and it was an overall great experience…I will definitely be back
Great Spring Round
Chilly and windy day, but the course was in very nice shape for early spring.
Layout was tough, but realistic.
Staff is always top notch, starting at check in, to starter, to Marshalls, beverage gal, and the grill inside the clubhouse.
Highly Recommend!
I think it's a good 27-hole course.
The course layout was good, the length was reasonable, and it was a fairly good golf course.
However, it was not a good experience that day because the team in front played so slowly that the pace of the game continued to slow down.
I wish the green speed was a little faster.

Great course but very slow
Very slow play. Cart path only doesn’t help but tee times seemed stacked too close together. After playing 9 in 2hrs 45mins we decided to leave and go have lunch. 10th hole was stacked with 4 groups between the tee box and green. Will probably be back but probably during the week.

Nice course, too many people.
Way too many people. Slowest pace of play. Took almost two hours to get through 6 holes. Need to work on how many tee times you let in at once.

The course was in good shape for this time of year. The fairways have not turned green yet, but they still were in good shape. I would recommend this course

Great course..
Just a great course in good condition for this time of year. Greens in fantastic shape, fairways and tee boxes still a little thin and brown, Can't wait for things to green up. Cart Path only makes it a little slow, but not to bad. Hilly and undulating makes things interesting.
