Kilmarlic Golf Club

Frankly, I'm unable to understand why this golf club is the highest rated golf course in Outer Banks. I didn't expect much about fairway grass because it's winter season. But, it doesn't seem to be as well maintained as other golf courses, especially considering the fact that there's a lot of debris in the bunkers. However, since the overall course layout is good, it is a course that is more anticipated when you come to other seasons other than winter.

My son and I played this course for the first time today. Course was in great shape even with rain the night before. Layout is excellent, staff couldn’t have been more friendly, they were great. Greens were top notch. We will definitely be back for another round.

There's no doubt that when this course dries out, it is absolutely a premier course. Unfortunately, it was saturated and cart path was impassable in several places and required us to drive on a soaked fairway of which it was path only. Drainage is a major issue on several holes.

Like Kilmarlic. Easily accommodated tee time change no questions asked, played till dark no complaints. Good shape for Dec. Nice layout, challenging, full set of varied length tees.

Was a terrific day by myself no one in front or back. No pressure no stress very quiet.

My son and I were joined by two members and had a great experience! Great layout with course management a necessary element to a good score. OK, I am an average player, lost a few balls yesterday still managed a 93-mainly due to the help of the members establishing where is optimum. Look forward to my next OBX trip for another round...

Not a long course but the lay out keeps things interesting and the greens were perfect. Some tough par 5s at the end but the par 3s and 4s are fair.

First time playing was a challenge since there were many doglegs that made it hard to know just where and how far to hit the ball.

The fairways were fairly large, but if you missed the fairway, you were in a penalty area and probably lost your ball. There was no playable rough just off the fairway.

Pretty course. Great greens. Open fairways. Natural setting, not many houses, which I like. Expensive. Farthest course, with the exception of The Currituck Club, from Kitty Hawk.

Had a great time! The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Try Kilmarlic and it will become your favorite too!

This was my first time playing this course and i would highly recommend it! The layout was great, the staff was very friendly, and the food in the restaurant was amazing! Course conditions were good as well. Well maintained tees and fairways. If i had one gripe it would be that the greens were kind of beat up from people not fixing their ball marks. The greens rolled smooth and were a good pace.
