About
When Anderson Creek Golf Club first opened in 2001 it was immediately recognized as the "Best New Golf Course in North Carolina." The course was designed by 1997 PGA Championship winner Davis Love III, it was his first signature design in North Carolina. It has a traditional layout that epitomizes golf in the Carolina Sandhills. The layout features rolling emerald fairways lined with towering pines and undulating greens bordered by large roll-off areas, a tribute to the classic Donald Ross designs that are prevalent in the Sandhills. The challenging golf course has tricky doglegs and there are a variety of elevation changes throughout. Water comes into play on a few holes at Anderson Creek Golf Club, most memorably though on the par-3 fourth, which demands a carry over a large lake. Strategically placed bunkers also lurk along the greensides.

Great course, better staff
Course is kept in great condition. The course is lucky to have this staff. The head pro Will is the absolute best. He went above and beyond for just a normal tee time. He has great knowledge of the course, even fitted me for a driver for free. If this course were in a vacation area it would a must play. Davis Love design. Greens are always top notch. Best bang for your buck in the area.

Exceptional layout, marvelously kept, felt like quite a little secret my father and I stumbled upon. We tipped it out, so far all the Love III courses Ive played have proven to be up to my desires as a lover of length. All the par 3’s played over 200, 3 of the 5’s were unreachable for myself (capable of a 265 carry from off the turf)
Dynamite green complexes, great sight lines, well architected courses really do set themselves apart when you get the chance to compare apples to apples.
We will certainly be back!

First time playing here at ACC and what a beautiful course. Was definitely worth the rate I paid to play and looking forward to playing here again. Course conditions were excellent and we didn’t have anyone rushing or holding us up. Super impressed with this experience.

Wow Wow Wow - Can’t say enough good things. challenging, beautiful, no one in front or back of a single. Greens fast, sand good. Nice people. I drove from Fuquay Varina, and well worth it! Super price. Don’t tell all your friends, lol.

Great course in great shape. Greens were perfect. Played as a single in less than 3 hours...mid afternoon.

Spend Your Money Elsewhere
Fairways bare dirt & muddy. Ranger on hole 2 . Had to wait to play because he was practicing his chipping. Get behind a mom with a young boy playing TWO balls while we wait behind them on a SATURDAY. No urgency. Make the turn. Mom & kids gone. What do we find?? The clubhouse letting people go off the back. Pace of play AWFUL!! Call clubhouse & ask do you let people start on the back"SOMETIMES". Never going back!!

Holy Bunkers
I really enjoyed Anderson Creek! The course layout was great and who ever designed it loves some deep bunkers! While I only managed to hit one my playing partner was at the beach all day! I will definitely be playing there again!

Average conditions. Nice Greens.
The pace of play was a little slow for my liking. My son and I had a good time. The greens where nice and the course was in okay shape for the summer. Love the layout and it provides a challenge for all skill levels. Bunkers are hard and could use some sand. (some with small rocks in them. )

Amazing staff!
The young lady in the pro shop was beyond helpful and friendly. The bar/restaurant staff were wonderful as well. As for the course, the greens rolled great and for the most part, tee to green was in good shape as well. I will definitely be back.
